Looks badass but like I figured, a lot would be using it as it's new and I lick my chops every time the other team has one or more inkbrush users.
I got to B- only to drop down to C+ because of a string of bad matches.
Winning by 2-3% after a close match always feels much better than dominating a team.

I have 39 headgear, 51 shirts, and 36 shoes.
Earlier rumors said there were 50 of headgear and shoes and 100 shirts, and that's believable.

Heh. I can agree with that sentiment. For instance, there are times where I want to place blame on shoddy teammates. And that is true in some cases. But even though I can do really really well, I can also get tunnel vision and not play the map right/strategically. So points doesn't always equate with me playing the game well.
I will say though, is it not possible to rank weapons? Or for weapons to be flawed or not as good as others? Or is it all perception and how the player uses them?
You better write the title for OT 3

Wow. I think some people are starting to figure out the brush...just went up against a user who felt like he'd been playing it since the game started. That is TERRIFYING when you're face to face with it.
The amount of ground you can paint with the inkbrush is amazing. Just swipe while spinning, and you can cover everything around you in seconds. Then ink skate away to the next open area. The only caveats are that it gives your right trigger button a workout and that it might hurt your right trigger finger if you're a little too eager with the swipes. Of course, I have no idea how to kill anyone with the brush though.

So yeah, used a brush with a bunch of GAFers. I know a lot of them from Kart though so it was more a KartGAF reuinion than a SplatGAF room.
My gear was shit, my strategy was shit, and yet I still did much better than I usually do with these people. I am now a convert and will use a good set-up for it next time. But I got to 17 and my battery was red so I'm done for tonight.

Done for the night. Finally have 4 people on my team and get a communication error. I have a USB Ethernet adapter so pretty certain it's not on my end. First time since launch I've had an issue. Frustrating...
The Inkbrush isn't even that good.
I rarely play shooters but is having a higher ground always this advantageous? I was using a gun with decent range and I was basically getting free kills with people trying to get up to me or completely unaware of where I'm at.
I can feel myself getting better as I play this especially with playing motion and analogue together. Gave the N-Zapper another shot and I think I'm in love with the weapon this time lol. Paintbrush not so much. Really poor inking and the swing feels kind of weak to me.
One last comment but I had one game where I literally won by 0.1 percent lmao. I feel more confident playing this game now so how do gaffers gather up to play? NNID is DooD1234 if anyone want to add me.

My team using the paint brush has gotten me killed a few times. They were standing trying to sling the paint and instead they were just blocking my shots... Lol. Had to adapt when they are on my team.

I want to love the Brush so I can join TeamBrush but
It's like Kim Kardashian, looks glorious but is a piece of wood in bed.
It took some getting used to, but I really enjoy it. Definitely turns into a game of stealth though, so deception is key
