E3 2015 Predictions & Discussion thread

You guys think we might see something Saints Row related? Or is it too soon for Volition to show something new? I want to see where the series goes next, hopefully a reboot.

I predict I want a new trailer and release date for The Last Guardian. I also predict that I want Persona 5, this year, as promised.

Anything else is just icing on the cake.

I want a Nintendo MOBA and also more Nintendo-themed weapons and wear for Splatoon. Let me play Turf War on Delfino Isle with a Master Sword brush.

So ahm, guys do you think they'll reveal Horizon with a 3 minute trailer or go full on stage demo?

I'm thinking a demo, and then an extended demo afterwards during one of the livestreams. Is Sony doing its own E3 livestream this year?

Are there any examples of Sony revealing a AAA 1st Party game on stage and then proceeding to demo it live/with gameplay?

Shadow Fall, Modnation Racers and LittleBigPlanet 3 come to mind.

I assume they will do a live demo at PSX; think it's very early for more than a trailer, but would be impressed if they'd do it.

Didn't they show a Killzone Shadowfall trailer when they revealed that one?

Why is everyone using spoiler tags? If you don't want to get spoiled, get off gaf. There will no doubt be threads created for a lot of rumoured announcements.

I pray, pray that Sony doesn't do any CGI/Gameplay-less reveals for their bigger titles of the conference (The Order, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4). The idea of finally knowing what it is but having to wait more months would kill all my hype.
I'm expecting it from Level-5 though.

My main wants for E3:

-Morpheus info with new games announced for it
-No Man's Sky release date, demo, and Morpheus support
-The Witness release date and Morpheus support
-Rime gameplay and release date
-The Last Guardian re-reveal

-Star Fox gameplay and release date
-Mario Wii U title, whether it be Galaxy 3 or Galaxy 1+2 HD
-A dream game: Metroid or F Zero

-Doom 4 gameplay and release date
-Fallout 4 gameplay and release date
-Skyrim PS4/X1

I swear if they show another No Man's Sky video with a dude looking around on a planet and then walking up to a spacehip and flying away I'll dropkick my screen

I'd love to see EAD Tokyo have a new Mario game for Wii U, and it's just 3D World 2.

...Because that'd be a good game, of course.
OK, you got me, I want that salt

They really really really need to get a release date out there this E3, or people will honestly start overlooking it.

Interest is waning.

No it was a gameplay demo. That's why I'm thinking they might do it again, especially it being a new IP, it's all about that first impression. *cough* Watch Dogs *cough*

I want to see a mystery demo of a game that only unlocks during a company's press conference, and then the people playing at home are the live demo at E3. Yeah.

But yeah I don't want to see that either.

No Man's Sky sorely needs to show gameplay appeal other than moving around. When we get the gameplay mechanics, my hype will soar.

Anything similar to the Battlefield: Hardline demo or P.T. would be a welcome thing, indeed!

My interest isn't waning at all, but do you think people will settle for just another trailer and awkward developer on stage staring at the ground? Because that's been the case for the last three times it was at shows.

I'm still interested in NMS, but I don't think anyone could defend them having their next trailer be the exact same format. That's just boring.

Nah, show off something new. Game's been AWOL for the year so far, they must have been noses to the grindstones, getting all kinds of cool stuff into that universe. I'd love a deep dive into just how bizarre a planet can get.
