E3 2015 Predictions & Discussion thread

I predict that there will be very little or even possibly no CGI trailers, instead we shall get a shit ton of "In-engine" trailers, especially from EA.

This MrMattyPlays dude is pretty cool. He's doing frequent analysis on all the things about Fallout 4 and he noticed many things that i didn't.

On the surface Fallout 4 may look "more of the same", but we might some really big changes in the game.

Let's be fair breh; you leaked some (correct) infos on Twitter, had "I leak games sometimes" or something similar in your Twitter bio until you removed it today and beat the big drum for the podcast, and while you might not have profited from it from a financially perspective that much you have been the talk in the town for some while.

Not saying that people attacking you is cool, but people get crazy during E3 and I think you should have been more cautious about this.

That being said, you should stick around and not just leave GAF because of this incident. People are thirsty for news and you guys just put in work into a podcast, so of course there might be a lot of emotions going crazy right now. That's all I will say now and we shouldn't derail this thread any further. :)

The show's just about a group of nerds discussing unreleased and/or cancelled video games. I happened to mention that we'd be talking about E3 gossip and this whole thing got blown way out of proportion and people built up these false expectations based upon the fact that I'd leaked details on Skylanders and have a good reputation for delivering those things.

Sorry if you thought that, but the podcast is not about leaking future games! Please do not back us if that's what you're after.

We're not some money-grabbing website with the intent of taking people's money or misleading them. I would hate for you to think that! We're a small website and none of us profit from it. We do it all for free. All of that money goes towards keeping it online.

If you're unhappy and don't want to donate towards keeping the site online, please unsubscribe! I urge you to. We are not after money. The podcast is something fun we do for backers who want to help us :)

Yep, nothing uncommon about that. Lots of Patreon's put out exclusive content for backers. No need for people to be harsh on Liam, when he wasn't even promising to leak megatons or whatever.

Not misquoting you.
You said you would deliver leaks and photos. You made your marketing upon it.

But, just don't play the good guy, pls?
It's easy to try to mislead people and them tell people they where just attacking you for nothing and misquoting you.



I didn't pay nor would pay a single dollar for leaks.

If you want to talk about your projects, fine, nobody was against it. Some even were/are excited and want to help.
But you need to understand that was your fault just keeping saying about E3 leaks at twitter and didn't even minded telling it wasn't the main subject, or it was but most of it was already known.

Edit: In marketing, when you mislead or over exaggerate, you have to be prepared for a backslash

Yeah, I like MrMattyPlays. I actually found him because I wanted to start a channel and do Fallout gameplay and stuff, and was going to name it "Matty Plays", and he's what turned up when I searched to see if it was being used.

Still can't think of a name for it.
 
I think most things I want are pretty much gonna happen

Mass Effect trilogy remaster for PS4/XBO
KH HD collection for PS4/xbo
Mass Effect 4 reveal

We already got a shitload of Vita localization reveals.

I guess the longshot I would love to see is New 3DS non-xl coming to US. I doubt it would happen, but it would be nice. If we don't get anything on that front at E3 I will probably just wait for a good New 3DS XL deal for Black Friday and finally get one so I can play Xenoblade 3ds.

That's why everybody is telling you stick to YouTube as they have the better infrastructure than the rest. Twitch is a lag-mess and has way too high delay, the others are pretty much eh.. Gamespot can be good, GiantBomb is very personality/comment-driven and I think IGN was aight as well.

That was very obviously tongue-in-cheek. I'm sorry you lack the ability to detect that. Incidentally, I know plenty about E3 for the record. Just because I don't talk about about that stuff, doesn't mean that I don't know it.

So do we know if this Youtube E3 Livestream is available worldwide? And available with the YT App on PS4/Xbone?


I want a stream where i dont have to switch channels. Gametrailers was great. But it doesnt look like it will be the same without Geoff.

As someone that has absolutely zero idea what is going on and just clicked the last page of this thread just to see what's up...there is definitely no way to tell those tweets are tongue-in-cheek.
