Funny. I went in a random room online and Walrus was there. I don't know if he joined my room, but funny coincidence. I think Candido and somebody else from GAF popped in too.
Overall, a pretty frustrating night, though. I was on a tear tonight with kills with the Dual Squelcher... Was basically the enforcer in a lot of rounds. 7 kills, 8 kills, etc. But would end up losing a lot of matches anyway. Don't know if I'm just playing too defensively with my range or I'm just not getting teams with good gunners? Had two rounds on the Urchin Underpass where we controlled the middle the entire time. There's about 30-40 seconds left and I'm standing near the ridge where the other team enters and keep walling them out with my range. And my teammate dies and then 3 members all come over the hill at once (sometimes with a Bubbler!), kill me, and proceed to comeback to a 50-45ish victory. Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh. I want to crawl in a dark hole somewhere.
(Also, snipers are the Dual Squelcher's worst enemy on Arowana Mall. Yeesh.)
Been playing around with a Ink Saver Up shirt, and my first two slots have both randomly landed on Ink Saver Up as well. Dual Squelcher goes through ink quickly, so I might just keep that as a very specialized piece of gear. Maybe I can get all four the same.

I just hit Level 10 and can join friends in ranked matches whereas at Level 9 I couldn't.

I've been hoping for something like this myself, and thought that the Zapper might be what fits the bill before the revealed it was rapid-fire. I suppose the closest thing as far as high power and low fire-rate is the Blaster, but that thing is wonk as hell for me to try and use.

It's almost inspiring...I saw a level 18 charger repeatedly squirting at the unpainted corners in the small gated off hallway on our side in Urchin Underpass. That must take dedication.

Whenever you have less people on your team than the other team your special bar charges automatically. It's very small but doesn't matter if your allies disconnect or die.

It's evasiveness is a huge strength. I can weave in and out of areas much more easily than with a roller because of it's speed and ability to quickly cover my periphery with the swings.

Any weapons from Levels 16 to 20 you really recommend buying? I think I may focus on gear for the time being.

I'm more inclined to believe it's based on where you place on your own team.
I've probably scored 1000 more times with the brush more than any other weapon I've tried. You basically have to go do your own thing and not engage people unless you completely catch them off guard. With ninja squid and ink saver, you can easily hide from foes and escape if they come close to you. You can cover a lot of ground very quickly with the ranged attack and escape with the "rolling" move.

Not often you have lag on your side, haha. There was a japanese inkbrusher that gave trouble a few matches ago, I couldn't believe myself when I got owned by him lol
