Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Was playing for like an hour earlier with probably an 80% win rate between both modes. Then I have a ranked game on skatepark teamed up with three brushes and from then on things went so bad I was cursed and lost 80% of the time ahah
 
Gonna call it a night. It was fun playing with you guys.

Heng, try aiming a little higher when we're battling up close. I think I was jumping over your shots on warehouse.

I'm finally doing decent in B-. The leave and rejoin trick is a godsend, as was getting gear I wanted with better abilities. Been getting within the top 3 players in each match pretty consistently. Wouldn't be surprised if I hit rank B soon.

Yeah that was me. You got me as I tried to get out of the first row of crates like three times in a row, and when I tried going around you aimed a killer wail right where I was coming out haha
 
Well after watching some videos of Splatoon I decided to order it. The only multiplayer game I've really played for the last 5 years or so is Team Fortress 2 but I think I might enjoy Splatoon as well. Looking forward to trying it out.

(also I finally bought the beanie and the mountain jacket, that's what I wanted to be rocking, it's sweeet)
 
I still haven't learned how to deal with rollers who jump and splat down onto you, and they're becoming much more frequent as I go through the levels. I'm keep expecting them to swim away to try to ambush me or stupidly keep rolling forward so I can't react quickly enough
 
Jesus Christ, I just realize it 4:00!in the morning where I'm at. Can't stop playing but I'm starting to feel that crash. Between Smash, Kart and now this, Wii U keeping me busy and it making me waste my subscription time with FF14 with Heavensward coming soon lol. Why isn't there enough time to play games. Wish I didn't have a job sometimes lol.

Meanwhile, I just find out my brother is also up late as I am playing Xenoblade 3D lol. Okay that enough rambling I need to ZZZ...

I've been getting 2-3 hours less sleep per night since this released.

I'm slowly re-learning how to use the 52 Gal. Opening up slots in your gear is not a good idea in GAF rooms...

Haha, the good ones don't normally make it that easy.

Try and use the duel squelchers range more. You have a big advantage with it. You can really keep a roller at bay with that thing as it has the range and fire rate to lay down a nice amount of ink unlike the gals and splat pro.


Basically just backpedal while firing, use your range to your advantage. I rely on lots of ink to maneuver. Take that away and you can shut me down.

If you're a fan of the spy I think you'll appreciate the stealth aspect of the game (coming from a spy main).

Don't forget about the single player portion though, it's quite unique and lots of people have been surprised at how good it is.

Yeah I think I'm basically still playing like it's the Aerospray. I'm not used to using a weapon with that much range
