I like having an echolocator of some sort during all of my builds I'm finding, fucks with the other team and helps out my team a little.

if you know where they are, 60-70% of the time you know what they're doing
 
Okay so the last stage update was Port Mackerel last monday. Think there's a chance of getting another new one tomorrow?
 
Man I wish school was over so I could get high enough to play ranked. I'm only level 8, but averaging 1.1k-1.2k a game is really making this boring (not to mention missing like 5 stat slots on my gear since everyone is level 20 :(.)

I've been running the Tenatek Splattershot and it's been awesome, I really love the inkzooka on clearing major lines of sight.

Also, I've heard theres some debate over Gyro vs Stick for higher levels of play, whats the word on the street?

No debate. Only Gyro.
 
I think I'm losing it over Splatoon, thank Nintendo for not putting voice chat in..I just fly off on profanity laced tirades as I lost a rank and a half because I've been doing random ranked battles.

Nothing like getting the skate park and watching my team single file walk right down the middle and get mowed down repeatedly. Don't try to go down one of the side paths or anything guys.It's like The Charge of the Light Brigade in this room.

I think I have to stop playing ranked when the skate park is an option because it's the absolute worst with random people.

N-Zapper uses it.

I never leave home without it.

When they bring the Orange Zapper out, I ain't gonna use it because it'll pale in comparison without allowing me to be Echo The Dolphin.

Glad to see others yell at the game. I've once considered throwing ym Gamepad on Wednesday...that stopped when I realised that my teammates won't have anyone to try carrying them if I left. :P
 
No voice chat is good because it hides nothing but profanities. Very true.

But those times when everyone Super Jumps even though an enemy is in your main... I just want to tell them to watch map :(

I think they'll roll out maps every 2 weeks as opposed to every week, but who knows, maybe we'll be lucky.
 
I really want to see re-imaginings of movies and games using Inkling Boy, Girl, and Octoling characters. I have a vivid image of how Mad Max: Fury Road would look with Max Squidatansky and Inkerator Furiosa.

I'd love for that but I think a new map every two weeks over the summer would be more likely. I imagine they are gonna spread them out and pace themselves to maintain momentum. However who knows for sure.

I do think we might get splatfest after the E3 announcement.
 
I'm also kinda going off the deep end here to mention I'd like to see vehicles inspired by Splatoon.

At this point there shouldn't even be a debate(especially where Splatoon is concerned). There's just no comparison.
Anyone - even the most vocal stick supporter/gyro hater - can go to the shooting range in the game and put gyro vs sticks to the test. Go to the upper level and see how fast you can destroy the first row of targets - with as few missed shots as possible - with both methods. Heck, see how many bombs you can throw in the basketball net(in a set time) with both methods. I'm not even a fan of motion controls, but even I can admit how utterly superior they are.

I'm not saying a person can't be more comfortable with sticks than gyro, thus, get better results when playing. However, comfort/familiarity is a totally different matter, and doesn't really touch on the more technical aspect.
 
Just got home from away to all my streaming stuff. Gonna set it up and go through a test run just to see how bad wireless will look. Wanna do some videos for the weapons, so I may be ruining some future games just stalking players. Sorry in advance! Can't wait to try the inkbrush.
