Gonna try to solve my router issues with a LAN adapter. I'll try to buy one on the way home and get it hooked up tonight to see if I can finally play some multiplayer. In the meantime I have beaten the main campaign and some amiibo challenges.
Loved the final boss and his music and sayings. made me laugh out loud a couple times.
Overall I really like the game even if I have only experienced about half of the game. Most of the amiibo challenges are not that difficult except for the limited ink ones for the squid amiibo. But that reward is too cool to pass up.

I splat my own house party cause nobody came.
 
The amount of people who consistently super jump out of our base as there are 2 people on the other team painting it is fucking mind boggling to me.
 
So what's this SplatFest thing that everyone keeps mentioning..? Have I missed something..?

Yesterday I tried going a day and a night without playing Splatoon. I lasted 8 bloomin hours...bloody game lololol.

There should be a Government Health Warning on the box lmfao ;oP
 
going back and forth on whether I want to grab the Splatoon 3 pack, how are the missions and games? I don't really care too much about the clothes
 
I wish Super Jump required a permission from the one you're super jumping TO. Quit jumping to me, idiots. I had hoped the third time of doing it and dying immediately would be enough to get it into anybody's head. >.>
 
Why are all of the names in ranked lobbies still Japanese... It's like 5am there.

I just want like an hour a day where I can't get splatted by rollers who aren't facing me. Is that too much to ask?

Plus in Splat Zone tossing a bomb out early is an easy way to get a kill or two and have less trouble getting control early. I went with the Octoling Goggles because I didn't think the sub abilities the other two Bomb Range Up headpieces tended to get (Special Saver and Quick Respawn) were very good. I'm debating re-rolling them but I've been super jumping surprisingly often.

Eh, they're fine, but it's basically campaign missions with a different weapon. Not worth the price on their own. You have to be pretty interested in the figures themselves to warrant a purchase, IMO.

I think I'll hold out until the squid gets released by itself and stock issues are fixed, thanks
 
I truly would like to pick #TeamDog but my feeling is that #TeamCat will win, so I guess I will go with that :P
 
Going on a losing streak in ranked really makes you question if you were good, or if you were riding other players coat tails to get where you were, especially when you derank and still lose.

But when you get that one victory right afterwards you feel oh so much better.
 
Do we know how many colors there are in matches? After playing waaay too much this week my team spawned with this really pretty burnt sienna color that I'd definitely never seen.

No clue, but I know I've played one match that was two shades of blue against each other, which took me by surprise. Still pretty contrasting, but weird.

I think there's a different amount of set colors for both modes, however.
 
I'm guessing the reason we haven't seen an official Splatoon CD or soundtrack released is because the entire soundtrack has yet to be revealed. I'm guessing Nintendo is holding back some of the songs, only to be released as DLC later. 5 Vs mode tracks can't be all there is to this game could it? I seriously doubt it.

Also, I've noticed some of the recent discussion centering on the SplatFests. I don't have the time to sift through this thread for information, but has there been anything officially released from Nintendo giving us an idea of when the first SplatFest event will be? If it's this weekend, lord have mercy on me lol.

Edit: Never mind, just re-watched the direct. First SplatFest will be June 20th.

Don't recall which, but there is a hidden scroll that seems to show all of the combinations. Look for the one with a lot of circles.

It's the 20th in the US, 27th in EU. Japan is getting theirs this weekend
