Impressed you managed to rank up with a Splattershot Jr. on 2 maps which favor long range users.

You still gotta get to A+ 99 though.

I'm (seriously) impressed. Especially since ranked is mostly what I play and I go back and forth between B- and B constantly. I'm starting to think B is just my ceiling.

I can't seem to get a win when I'm rank B unless I'm completely carrying the team on my back which I can't do 7 times in a row.

What weapon do you use for ranked? Just curious.

I'm so confused by what exactly causes your selection of gear available to buy in the stores. I thought it was levels at first, but I haven't leveled and suddenly there was two star gear in my shops.

Think I just saw the glory of the Aerospray MG. Such an amazing firing rate, for close-quarters levels like the Walleye Warehouse it's really great.

I'm also really happy I bought the WiiU battery extender. What a lifesaver! Can't recommend it enough to other gaffers who have qualms with the WiiU's short battery life.

I forgot to tell you guys. I found footage of skies playing with his dad

Playing with just two fingers on my right hand is hard

I apologize splatGAF, my dad seems to be a wall painter.

Thanks! It was indeed rough, but the bubbler at the mall actually works pretty well because everyone groups together at the top of the ramp which makes for easy kills with a team full of shielded inklings.

I think I will try and tackle A+ 99 at warehouse and urchin underpass though :lol

Fucking disconnects and fucking errors.

We had won a splat zone game only for the thing to freeze, and I got -10 when I should have gotten +10. I'm now stuck back in the pit of B-.

FUCK THIS GAME

it doesn't seem to work for me but I have a crappy connection anyway and I got a cheap 3rd party adapter

Now that you mention it, I've seen many of your posts where you complain about your bad EUR connection, mine's terrible as well. What's your internet speed? Might be interesting for me to know because today I might be changing to another less-crappier ISP

it just switches randomly at a given time p/day, but the availability depends on your level. That's why when you start they'll only have one-star gear and you'll get to like, level 12, and nothing will change until switchover time.

Level 19 and over halfway to 20. I started at 16-and-a-half today. I'm almost with the rest of GAF
from a week ago
now!

Any money-making tips? I have no idea how I'm supposed to be adding slots to these clothes. Even after all the play today, with a majority being high-scoring wins, I only made around 70k.

I squid with the splatshoot Jr. I sport gear that extends the special (bubbler) and consumes less ink to obtain it. I also have ninja squid jump. In the B rankings, I would usually be at the top of my team (kills-wise), but in A I had to adjust my strategy to become more of a support player than an attacker. The distance and damage advantages of the other weapons make most encounters without the bubble extremely unfavorable for me at that skill level.

So I would spend the majority of the match in A-ranking guarding one of the zones or trying to flank the opponent while building my special. Once I obtained my special, I would wait to try and time my push with my other teammates and use my special in hope that the whole team should be shielded and we could swing the zone in our favor and hold onto it while the other team spawns after the encounter.

The Spaltshooter Jr. Is more of a turf war weapon in my opinion, but in splatzones the Jr. can be used in way to where you will have the upper advantage in the majority of splat battles you pertake in, as long as you use the bubbler correctly.

So are wired ethernet adapters for the Wii U generally a waste of money? I got one and based on speedtests it seems to go even slower than wifi.

Wired is much better for online play, both for having no signal interference and having full duplex (being able to send and receive at the same time). Stability is primary, speed tests are secondary.

54.0 Mbps, 5 Mbps download, 0.3 upload I think
