Sigh... I had the chance to buy the 3 pack of Splatoon amiibos on Amazon when they released. I had no idea they effected gameplay so much or else I would have bought them. Am I stuck without ever getting to play the other minigames unless I want to drop a ridiculous price to some scalper?

So, any tips on how to boost level/money gains? I was comfy at first but now it's all so slow. I can barely buy weapons and clothes.

Use some of the ink saving abilties and use a weapon that can spray enemy ink and the ground quickly like the aerospray or splattershot jr.You will easily get 600+ points per match if you do this. I think the splattershot jr. is better to use because it has a bubbler.I also suggest that you spray enemy ink when playing turf war if you want to score higher in a match since you get more points for spraying enemy ink.

Managed to get over 1000 points multiple times today in turf war because I changed some of the abilities I was using.I switched to some of the abilities that affect your ink and my score in turf war actually increased by a bit.

I just around a bit in my router settings a while ago, and it turned out it had some QoS uplimit enabled at 1,5Mbps. I turned that off, and my up speed is now - shockingly - much better.

This would probably only an issue if you have a decent connection on paper (I have 50/10 both on paper and effectively now on my PC, only 10/2,8 on Wii U however)

My earlier response was a little blunt so I'll add a bit more. Your best shot if you aren't getting 800-1000 each time is to switch to the splattershot Jr which lays down the most ink the fastest out of all the weapons you have. Its a fairly easy gun to use and you should be able to wrack up points quickly. Use Ink saver or ink refill perks to help you wrack up more points.

Weapons cost a lot more than clothes and are always there so I would advice just buying clothes and skipping the weapons until you have some extra cash. Obviously if you really want to buy a certain weapon grab it but you don't need every weapon as soon as it becomes available.

Judd gives you cash based on your win streak (the green box with flags in it) every rotation. Just make sure to visit him before the maps switch or you'll lose your streak.

I thought I would destroy everybody at night (during the day ranked matches are filled with awesome japanese players and it´s usually easier at night when they go away). So night came and I dropped to B- in a few battles. Haven´t been able to get to back to B yet
