Just had the most intense ranked battle, got pulled into over time after losing 3-74. It ended 3-4 and the other team won but damn was it tense!

I just had like my most badass moment yet with the game. Playing splat zones on walleye warehouse. Other team has an e-liter 3k user so I use my splattershot pro to ink a path forward as far as I can, refill, and then I take out all 4 of the other team with my splattershot pro.

from experience though, wired seem to perform better on nintendo's servers. at last very much so in Smash, where the difference is night and day
It's really annoying when you take out 3 of the other team and the last guy gets you because everyone else is dead or off doing something else.

They should really announce all the maps for a mode on a single screen.
There will be 3 mapped in Ranked and 3 mapped in Regular.
I'm fine with what is in place now, but thinking about that is... yikes. Hope they have something planned to circumvent the issue.

Running ramshod over everyone in Turf Wars today followed by a sobering trip to ranked mode. One of these days I'll find a weapon that works for ranked. Maybe.
Try to only turn only with the right stick and aim only with the motion with the motion. I had the same problem as you at first, Now I think the controls are pretty much perfect.
Exactly. The motion control mode is just a twin stick control with extra aiming support.

Won 2 out of 3 and went up 10 points. I wish they had a way to sort players beforehand so I(we) wouldn't have to go through this. I got a triple kill at the beginning right next to the zone on rig. My team stood outside the zone on both vantage points and never captured it.

With any weapon in Splatoon adjust camera angles to see what's around you but especially with the roller IMO.
So while I'm rolling I'll also be turning the camera around 360 degrees at times, seeing where the enemy is, knowing where my color ink is in case I have to drop down and become one with the ink, then pop out and rush the opponent. Also use objects and walls as cover always.

I just around a bit in my router settings a while ago, and it turned out it had some QoS uplimit enabled at 1,5Mbps. I turned that off, and my up speed is now - shockingly - much better.
This would probably only an issue if you have a decent connection on paper (I have 50/10 both on paper and effectively now on my PC, only 10/2,8 on Wii U however)
