There's no way they don't know that this is getting around. If they wanted to stop the hype they would've come out already and said something.

I tweeted boyes if he wanted to get on the Hype Griffon lol.....no response, they are all probably way too busy atm. I remember the community manager of NA not responding to my emails basically starting the previous monday of E3 (last year) until almost the week after because of all the moving around they do and insane work involved.
 
Sony is waaaay too quiet about this. Not only that, but no one else is squashing it either. No other news outlet is coming out and saying "Why the Guardian is wrong about the Guardian." You'd think that'd be low hanging fruit if that were the case.

They regularly deny both rumors of cancellations, and rumors of the game showing up at a specific event.

The lack of any answer from Sony even though the story is picking up some serious steam is all but confirmation imho.

I would rather he jump out and kill it now, if it's not gonna be there. Then many here can just move on, and approach the show differently. People will prob enjoy it more.

Yeah they squashed last year's cancellation rumor really fast.
 
TLG is gonna come out but then it will be co-developed with High Voltage Studios. :)
 
If Sony keep schtum about the game all the way up to their conference and don't show it, then they only have themselves to blame when everyone slags off their show and berates them. Now's the time to say something if it's not going to make an appearance, otherwise stay the course and remain silent until literally the last minute of the conference.

I agree. they should have killed the hype immediately after that blatantly lying and click-baiting article.
otherwise people will only once again be disappointed, even if the conference showed lots of cool stuff. (the enterprise-gif, it's so true).

There's difference between a negative rumor and a positive one. If they let the negative rumor spread, people get mad and don't tune in for the show.

If they let the positive rumor spread, people get excited and watch the conference. TLG doesn't show, but you're still intently watching their 90 minute advertisement.

Last Guardian would be the best crow i've ever eaten.

Honestly, i think they can't back away now, so eventually it'll come out (in some form) but i won't go through the delusional process every year.

Every year it seems like there are rumors, and insiders hinting shit, and it never fucking happens... why bother?
