I still think the biggest hurdle with P5 is that Atlus are releasing P4D the following week in Japan with new footage on a Blu-ray. So I guess it's still possible that there could be new footage. But they could also show the same trailer with everything translated into English and then end it by reiterating that it will be released this year in the US. I think people would still be happy with that knowing that the game is definitely being released this year in the US and knowing that new footage would only be a week away.

There is nothing interesting to see in this list. It just contains some speculation like "this could be at E3, because reasons" and a repeat of some infos.

New and updated timetable with US AM/PM, European 24 hour times and correct times for all.

EDIT: Ah i messed up some. GAHHH!

EDIT2: Finally fixed.

never said it is official

Sorry, that's not what I meant. What I meant was that it looks official. In the past I've seen tweets from the account posted on forums and presented as something officially said by Sony. I understand it's not an official account. I was just wondering if anyone ever mistakenly tweeted your account as if it were an official one.

shit happens :P

Yeah I was real skepticle about that early report saying NMS won't be at E3.

I'm fully expecting a full stage showcase lasting 10 minutes or so. Sony will want to build the hype for that leading into its holiday launch

Perhaps remind everyone of the size of the game by returning to that galaxy map. Perhaps even starting with the map and zooming down to a planet , warping to it, getting into some trouble on the planet with combat, jump into the ocean and find a secret save or something with rare resources , taking those back to your ship and then taking off to the systems space station, trading in the goods for a new ship , blasting off and the. Getting attacked by enemies that spans multiple planets until you see a beacon on the galaxy map, warp to that planet and discover some massive alien structure on a very alien planet swarming with wildlife and those mechs

Multiple of those alien portals can be seen inside the structure and you have to choose which one to go in, if you want go in. Player goes into one of the portals and sees a glimpse of .... Something off in the horizon .... Fade to black and then into a montage

Play P4G and find out! :)

This is the annoying answer I got when I asked.

I did some research and the answer seems to be that Persona is very deep both plot and gameplay wise, it's very polished and refined as an RPG, and it's slightly unusual in JRPG terms in that it has a very meaningful and grounded story that includes commentary on the modern life of Japanese youth.

That plus a sick trailer got me psyched and like you I've never played a Persona game.

For me, the Social Link system is the edge Persona has over any other JRPG, it's truly refreshing and makes playthroughs potentially different from one another and also attaining a perfect run is very complicated, which is always appreciated if you ask me.

If Persona 5 builds on and improves everything Persona 4 is, then we can be looking at a future masterpiece with every single letter.

Its not an annoying answer its the reality. Just play the game or 3 and you'll see why people are hyped for 5. Plus you'll get to play a fuckin good game so I think that's the definition of a win win.

It's annoying in the sense that unless you own a PS2/3/Vita, those option's aren't exactly available to you. If the PS4 is your first Playstation platform (or you no longer own the older ones), you can't really do much Persona playing.
