It was a great time! I never spent enough time in Trouble in Paradise because sectioning off gardens to different areas wasn't much fun, but the original was made perfectly. If Rare came out and had a new Viva Pinata for Xbox One, that would be super cool, especially if they priced it like Trouble in Paradise back in the day at $40. That would be a nice title to have in the line-up.

He makes the claim in this video at 17:00, which was only just posted on their website. Like the last couple of years they have written permission to stream the conferences.
He says nobody said he couldn't make the announcement, the other guy then asks about it being an medieval RPG, he then says it depends on your view of "medieval".
Edit: BTW, they're the same guys who made the Killzone 2 documentary years ago.

No Man's Sky should be on stage during Sony's keynote on Monday. There is definitely some sort of promotional deal going on between Sony and Hello Games.

In April GAF is cynical as an ice block, and by July they're begging to be swept away by hype. It's both tragic and beautiful.
It seems bizarre for them not to have it on stage. They need to keep the attention on that game high.

Well it's a PS4 exclusive, so Sony and Hello Games do have something going on.
Hello Games might want to keep it on the down low before they have a release date, and I don't think it's going to be releasing this year.
Danny O'Dwyer, who is allegedly friends with Sean, says it won't be at a press conference but it will be on the show floor.
Hope I'm wrong and it does make an appearance at Sony's conference.
Battle Network 7 for 3ds would be day one for me.

That was...surprisingly poetic.
I wonder if there's a concern about conference fatigue. It seems like each time it shows up at a conference more people ask, "But what do you actually do?" Maybe Hello or Sony decided to hold it back until they're ready to put a final release date on it.
I still think it's a Morpheus game though and it will be a part of Sony's Morpheus showcase.
If NMS is a Morpheus game it should be treated as a system-seller. They'd want to have it on stage with Morpheus announcements, I would think.
The "what do you do" comments (which I am still asking!) are just proportionate to the amount of exposure and hype it builds.

The problem with those comments is that this very thing has been answered a million times on here, on like a million different websites, on reddit, and via skywriting over major cities and eldritch runes burned into the flesh of virgins.
It's been answered literally everywhere to the point that when someone brings it up, it's treated like they're just trolling. It has become as silly and easily dismissed as "ps4 has no games".

So now everyone is expecting their new game to be shown at E3. I think that's a solid guess.
I usually wait until people distill the Nintendo event down to the really good stuff and watch it once I get home. But watch it live...

I wish someone could automate compiling a collection of every 'TLG is dead' post ever made on gaf so it can be set up as a shrine to impatience and pessimism when TLG is finally revealed. Of course, it would probably be a novella in length, at least.
