What i dont get is why would there be a meltdown if the game doesn't reach 1080p, just
look at BF4 and others running at 60fps. Its a IQ sacrifice for better gameplay.

For battles of that scale it has to have a higher player count, I'd say. 24v24 sounds good to me.

I think it'll be more in line with what Bungie wanted to do in Reach which is Global Battle. Excited to see what they can pull off.

Yeah, I'm expecting something like that. Space battles don't make sense to me. The ground combat and space combat would be too separate, too disjointed. But including large vehicles like Scarabs and Pelicans could work really well.

Please tell us that you have compensated for the black crush though?? I was playing H2A earlier (looks nice, and I think it's a given that H5 will look even better... mops brow), and there was some parts that were really dark.
That stuff looks awesome.
Really hope we get some epic battles in Halo 5 like that Warthog run sequence.

Yeah, I was trying to play H4 campaign the other day and couldn't see jack. The lack of in-game brightness settings don't help.

The only reason I asked that is because this is really their first Halo game free of Bungie' story arc. Halo' story going forward is all on them now, I'd imagine the pressure may be worse now then it was during the development of Halo 4, at least with Halo 4 they had something to work off of.

No kidding. This is what pisses me off the most. Half the people complaining at times don't even have the console let alone were gonna buy the game. Just doing the drive by concern trolling.
You can be disappointed if the numbers/resolution aren't what you want, sure. But why? I agree visual fidelity is an important part of games, but this arbitrary distinction between less than 1080p is a let down I just don't get. Look at what we came from. If the game looks, plays, does everything better than the previous iteration that should be the only way to judge the game.
Cant wait for Monday myself. Just because I want to see it running in action. The campaign level they're gonna show etc. See more multi-player impressions and screens.

If they can't get 1080pr, then 900p is also fine. Just make sure the frame-rate is solid and please use a decent post-AA solution. In the end though, it doesn't really matter to me. Day 1 purchase right here!

I really dont think I have any concerns on the outcome of the final resolution, judging from Halo 4 I think it's a safe bet the game is going to look really freaking good regardless of what resolution its running at. Hell I'm not really all that concerned about the FPS is long as its stable and smooth.

Pretty much, have been observing that same trend for a while now.
Can't wait for the conference. Regardless of how how awesome Hunt the Truth is, I am still curious as to what we will be actually facing in the game. Bring on the lore, and give it to me juicy.

I'm concerned with the framerate more than I am with the resolution. 30fps vs 60fps is a debate i'd rather steer clear of (although i'm glad Halo is 60fps now), but MCC struggles to maintain consistency with that. Forge in particular is plagued with issues and it put me off of the entire thing.
As long as 343 hits it out of the park with Forge, I can see myself putting a ridiculous amount of time into Halo 5.

Like you said, this happens across games/platforms/exclusives and it's truly draining.

Yeah, nothing's perfect, and there's plenty of merit towards discussing things that you aren't happy with (otherwise nothing ever gets changed). There's a point, though, where it just kills any enjoyment you're having with your hobby. I've been making an effort towards being more positive myself as of late.

I need to ask a question boss. Why has Halo never had bots for multiplayer? It would really help with online achievements that become impossible to get when the population dies off and also if servers are shut down. It's one of the best parts of Gears. I really think Halo should have them.
