Nah, a vanilla conference is just that. Vanilla. They've never been particularly exciting or engaging and most presenters stage presence is flat and kinda boring. Even the best presenter (da gawd Jack Tretton) couldn't save a boring show. Giantbomb talk overs are the best thing to happen to E3 since the Internet.

I usually do this. This year I don't care though, I'm only going to be watching the GB commentary and E3 live shows, and be hanging out here where I'm safe. Something changed in me.
Agree. I probably wouldn't watch any of the conferences except for Sony and MS if it wasn't for this. I've always found E3 conferences to be largely boring, and especially now when everyone and their mother is apparently hosting a E3 press conference. No way am I interested enough in fucking EA, Square or Ubisoft to want to watch those conferences alone.
I can understand why a lot of people prefer to watch the conferences "clean" for the first time, but that's not for me.

The Giant Bomb stuff might be my favourite part of E3. It's always fantastic and I can't wait to watch it all again this year.

Apparently Gametrailers are doing commentary streams, and there is a YouTuber I sometimes watch called VideoGamesAwesome/FFSTV, in which I enjoy their reaction streams.

I feel the danger in the air. GB is near.
They can be great and then other times they can be infuriating, sometimes certain people's dismissive and cynical attitudes can make you wonder why in the fuck they have a career in covering games.
But for general screwing around and discussions about the overall industry or whatever, they're usually good.

I don't have time to watch and rewatch all of the conferences. I'm not a great multitasker, but I'm just good enough to be able to concentrate on the main feed and the GB's commentary at the same time!
From their video it sounded more like GT would have pre and post conference coverage, but not during. But I dunno.
Who killed Greg, where is Brett and is Dr. Tracksuit able to make an appearance?
