Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

Decided to play some stuff while the downloads get done.

But then, Mortal Kombat Kollection isn't working. Fucking GFWL. So far I haven't found a working solution for this. :(

The original Fable port was actually quite impressive, 4K+ compatible out of the box, AO, full M/KB support, and optimised.

How is Civilization Beyond Earth?I love Civ 5 and my cursor is hovering above the add to cart button. I see this fall it will receive an expansion!

Finished it on PS4, just got a new PC and could not wait to get it on a steam sale with the season pass, I just feel the need to play it through again with the surround headset I have. The game is incredible. The best atmosphere ever.

It's like LA Noire, except replace the shootouts with god awful stealth sequences.

Oh and the story is awful.

That's why I'm not buying. We all know how well people who upgrade/buy DLC are treated. I'll wait until it's put into a pack and on sale during winter sale.
 
Not sure if I'll pick up anything, but probably Fallout New Vegas complete would be my target during this.

I'm not all that familiar with the season pass (don't feel that interested in the survival time trial mode thing), but I loved the base game. I do believe it was my 2014 GOTY.

The headset industry is rife with complete bullshit designed to separate people looking for good audio from their money.

again though....H1Z1 worth it if I already have Day Z?
 
Did I miss Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum when it was £3.74? Granted it's only £5.24 now but just wondering if it'll go back that low in this sale or should I just bite now.
 
Thank god that there's nothing that I want in the latest flash sale right now outside of State of Decay. I think I can hold off on that one too.

Its a Logitech g930, not the best out there for sure.

I've had this headset for three years already.

About the season pass, IMO for 6 bucks its worth it. The best DLC though is last survivor and crew expendable.

People are so stupid in the Steam Monster game.

OK, it's the boss round. Here's the lane with the big boss. Someone, or two, use the money ability. Awesome. Gonna click like mad and get something like 5 millions coins. A couple of people use the nuke ability, and the monster is wiped out in seconds. Motherfuckers.

If you're anything like me, I buy Early Access games, play them for a bit, then sit on them.

If you want to just sit on another EA title while the game is developed then more power to you. These multiplayer survival titles have a historically long development time as well.

Another downside is H1Z1 will inevitably be free to play, though I imagine buyers will get some extra perks as compensation.

If you let your friends buy headsets, then they really aren't a true friend.

If a friend recommended you a headset in the past, get away from them as quickly as possible. What's next? Steal your wife? Murder? Anything is possible at that point. True sickos.

They also activate that 'get more money on kill' ability way too early. You have a boss with billions of health, they need to wait until the final sliver to activate.
 
Is Endless Legend worth getting if you have never played a 4X strategy game? I'm interested in picking it up but I'm worried that it would be difficult to play as a newcomer.

Hahaha, noted. I will make sure I talk to you before I upgrade, for sure. I will also make sure to unfriend any friend of mine that even DARES to recommend me a headset.

Now that I think of it... I think I recommended a headset to a friend once!! Am I a bad person?

Now, about Civ Beyond Earth, any input on that? As I said, I really like Civ 5, but I read mixed opinions on beyond earth, has the game been patched and improved?

It is for the current discounted Price in my opinion. I couldn't get enough of the game and the season pass adds a lot of awesome survival mode maps.

That said, as I stated earlier, the best DLC is Crew Expendable and Last survivor, the ones based on the original movie. Soooo gooood.

I thin they deliberately do it otherwise it doesn't make sense.Why would anyone sabotage acquiring gold?

It's worse when they use the money ability on level __9 instead of waiting.
