Eyeing , Signalis, Nine Sols, Tunic, Streets of Rage 4, Blasphemous, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and Robocop: Rogue City. There's also Cyberpunk and Read Dead Redemption 2 but I don't know if I want to buy those for my Steam Deck or my PS5 Pro.

Thanks for testing, I vaguely remember the post about DS remake, the guy tested running the game off on micro SD via USB adapter, will load faster than mechanical HDD but slower than SATAIII SSD. Sekiro and DS remake have the same issues but the difference is Sekiro is made for last gen console, at worse 5400 rpm HDD, so using a 7200rpm drive + modern CPU will give it a boost regardless. Only problem if you don't have mechanical drive in your pc anymore
I think its possible to get fromsoft games run smoothly if you disable core 0 or just CPU 0 in Windows resource tracker or whatever its called, at least that's what fixed Elden Ring and Sekiro on nvme drives for me.

Can confirm it's on my micro SSD and it's flat lined as far as pacing and 60fps too. I'm not one to peddle with settings unless it's unplayable

Photo snapped from my phone. The screenshot omitted the graphic of the temps and fps
Does Sekiro run at a locked 60 on deck now? I'll be grabbing it if so.

Oh look the identical barely existent discounts we see in every regular sale all the time. Might as well just cancel these fake sales at this point.

Stranger of Paradise at 16 euro is a historical low. A must buy at that price.

Mk1 definitive edition is 23 on gmg. Is it really so bad it's not worth it at that price? I usually buy MK games when they hit 20 dollars for the story with all of the characters. Should I skip it because the kameo system sucks?

RDR2 is limited to 30 FPS on the PS5, the Pro gives no benefit over the base. There's rumbling about something coming out somewhat soon that might be a remaster for modern consoles. But the PC version lets you play at higher refresh rates already.

decided not to buy anything. I still have so many games. Mabey when i finish my backlock , Indiana jones and silent hill 2 have atleast 50 % discount

Thank you. If you were me and only had a PS5 Pro or a Steam Deck OLED, which system would you buy RDR2 or Cyberpunk for? Cyberpunk ultimate is on sale on PSN atm too. I'm probably not going to touch either of them for a while since I'd like to finish Spider-man 2 and finally restart Expedition 33. I'd just be taking advantage of the sale prices. I tend to buy indies on Steam and bigger AAA stuff for Playstation but it's slowly shifting I think.

Honestly, if you have no intent to play it anytime soon, there may not be any harm in holding off. By the time you actually get to it, it will probably have gotten another sale and maybe even a better one. I've bought quite a few games on sale that sat in my backlog and then received a deeper discount before I started playing it, so I effectively threw away money for no reason. Remember we still have fall and winter sales where the game will no doubt be on sale again.

Treated myself to these games:
Didn't know I had Death Stranding on PC. So hopefully with the upgrade I have enough motivation to try once again to like this game and also complete it before part 2 releases for PC.

I have DS already so I've bought BM and Robo.

really? haven't heard of this before I assume you have to do it everytime

Is it a stand alone thing?
The game is standalone, it has DLCs but they are grindy as fuck so they can be safely skipped imho.

The game is a re-imagining / spinoff of FF1. It's not necessary to know FF1 story but it would be better, it should make more sense that way. The game is super cheesy/campy anyway, in a good way, so just enjoy the ride.

Either that (if you want to play online), process lasso or some other tool, but ive just been using this mod which does exactly that, i think its possible to easily make some script to then use with asi loader or specific mod loaders for their other games.

The Killing Antidote, Lost Eden, The Dig, Cyberpunk Complete and some naughty ones. Yes.. I play those on my main account

COD is on sale but the new one comes out in a few months... I'll just wait at this point
Currently still on MW2 2022

I haven't played a Call of Duty since Call of Duty 2. What's the actual best single player campaign in the franchise nowadays?

Historical low price for this gem.
Sadly the first one is not discounted but you can find cheap keys for it though.

Infinite Warfare is a blast but its set in near future/space. "Real" war stuff then the OG Modern Warfare or Black ops ones are my personal favourites. The newer ones are pretty good as well TBH (barring MWIII).

Green Man Gaming finally put up their Square Enix sales, and they're VIP again.

Almost every SE game that's on Steam is here, and for quite a bit cheaper than Steam itself.

For example, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is $44.99 on Steam

$35.99 on GMG

Pretty similar discount on Rebirth ($41.99 vs $33.59), Romancing Saga 2 Remake ($49.99 vs $27.99) and the Pixel Remaster package ($48.64 vs $38.99). Everything is cheaper than Steam's sale price, and some games by a bunch. They usually run this deal alongside the Steam sales, and I'll admit to buying most of my SE games this way.

Modern Warfare 2019 is still leagues above the rest in my opinion. Advanced Warfare was incredibly fun too but a way different type of game.

Steam:
- Animal Well 16,53€
- UFO 50 19,60€

CDKeys:
- Wanted: Dead 2,39€
- Lumencraft 2,29€

Yuplay:
- Nioh The Complete Edition 5,87€

Ended up with:

My backlog is already far far too big but I just had to grab these ya know. Feels good. Already played some PEAK with three friends and that was a ton of fun. Laugh out loud stuff in that game lol.

Grabbed a few. Corn Kids 64 because of SScorpio's thread talking about "Indie 64" games.

Make a thread about it, it's another PC indie hit like Schedule 1 and R.E.P.O making bank without seeing any discussion on GAF.
Global Top selling for a couple of days now.

GMG does have very competitive discounts, if you can take advantage of them. It's a shame their customer service has gone down the toilet in recent years. They've activated a form of shadowbanning, so I haven't bought anything from them in ages and the bastards won't admit that's what they are doing.

Sigh, that feeling when you already own everything that you want

Edit: I've never played Morrowind. Is it better to wait for a remake at this point or does the original hold up?

man, morrowind is gonna be a time sink (if you get into it at all). absolutely archaic gameplay but if you watch a few videos and you're into it, it's a good game. i hope you like reading lol. it's tough to recommend. oblivion remastered is the better game nowadays imo

No sale on Dark Souls 1-3 with 3 costing 80$ with season pass get fucked namco

Sekiro still full price too no sale

Elden Ring 40% off but no sale on Erdtree

what a joke
