PlayStation E3 Experience 2015 Announced (Theaters)

No way the would give an Uncharted beta out when it comes with the Uncharted collection. I think Battlefront is the most realistic choice if one was going to be given away. I would love a Metal Gear Online beta though. That has got to be coming out soon. As long as it's not some stupid "exclusive" theme.
 
any of the Toronto-GAFers going want to meet up and grab food before hand?
I finish work at 5pm, and probably was gonna be at the theatre for 7pm-ish, so two hours to kill

I finish work around 5 or 5:30 ish gonna try make it there for 7 ish too may just to go the jackastors upstairs and site with the view of dundas square all of Toronto gaffers more than welcome to join in and have some natchos lol
 
So, it turns out my friend can't come in the end. Is there anyway to bring another friend using the second seat? Or is it locked to the persona name I submitted :/

Depends on if they actually check IDs. Last year they didn't, just have your friend say the name you had registered. No guarantees, of course! Could be SUPREME LOCKDOWN this year for the re-reveal of The Last Guardian.
 
I'm hoping for Battlefront/Drawn To Death beta codes

My friend finally got his confirmation email a few days ago. Very excited to attend this year!

Does nobody remember last year? They gave out alphas... Destiny alpha and Battlefield: Hardline alpha. Sure, UC4's mp beta comes with the Nathan Drake collection... wanna take bets where you'll get the UC4 mp alpha codes? ;-)

They checked IDs at the event _I_ attended...

That's a good point. I wonder if the "alpha" would be a shorter period like a few days/a week for everybody right after E3 ends, but then the beta is a longer period like a month seeing as they technically paid for it and the collection has no multiplayer

Well hopefully my attendant would be understanding enough to let my friend in instead :/

It's the Times Square OR 14th Street theater for me, if anybody who went last year could let me know if they checked ID's there
 
So my friend forgot to get a ticket to the show and has to be put on the waitlist. Anyone that went last year know how that works? And how likely will he be able to get in? We're going to the Atlanta theater if it matters.

Heh, I have tickets for both Times Square and Union Square as well, but I went to the Union Square one last year, I honestly don't think they checked my ID.

And I'm also hoping for Uncharted 4 beta or alpha codes.

Yea I got both as well but I've decided to go to Union Sq since most of Gaf seems to be going. I'll see you there friend :)
 
NYC GAF: Regarding the Union Square plans for tomorrow, I guess we'll see each other at the line. I plan on heading down there as soon as the Ubisoft event ends unless someone wants to suggest a meet up point earlier, in which case I'll skip half of it and go down there earlier.

I'll be wearing a GAF shirt in any case to help me stand out on top of a black messenger bag. That is me in my avatar except that I have longer hair now and more facial hair. Who else is going to 42nd street venue, I am all by myself and wouldn't mine some company.

I am. theres should be seats available because there are limited allocated tickets. and of course not everyone will show up

Surprisingly enough, she was all for it. Somewhat excited even. She's a keeper for sure. Glad to hear I should be good though. Hoping this is all worth it. Thanks for the help!
 
I went last year in philly, great fun, there's nothing like watching a press conference in a theatre full of fellow gamers. As for swag, keep your expectations in check, last year I only got an alpha code for destiny, a lanyard, and a poster, but it's about the experience.

Haha, same here. We're leaving with enough time to walk around and maybe grab a bite to eat before the event.

Since it appears no one is meeting up beforehand I'll be getting there about 15 mins before the doors open.

And the google doc with everyone going is in the op. It's more or less an equal distribution if the doc is any indication.

I was one of those who queued in last year with wait list and I remember also being let in 15 mins before hand. So if it's the same for registered, what's the difference ?

Damn NYC looks like it'll be fun. So many people going.

I only see two other people going to LA. I'm pretty sure Crimson hates me because I'm so cynical/negative.

Of course not. I will only hate you if you fart during the press conference. I'll be there around 3pm to catch a movie and then I'll line up.

I'm going by what the email says. I'll get there around 8:15, 15 mins before the doors open whereas the people on the wait list will be let in at 8:45, 15 mins before it starts at 9. Unless I'm reading the email wrong.
 
I am so excited! I got an email saying I got tickets for tomorrow's show!

I never received a conformation email when signups were happening even though I sent two emails about it. My brother and I are so HYPED!
