After rewatch, I liked it more, but still not as hype inducing as Nuclear or the Red Band trailer. Still pretty good.

He is blonde. He dyed his hair black in mgs1 so he wouldn't be confused with liquid.

I continue to have no idea why people go mental about this game. I've tried my best to follow them through GB and even completed the latest game on the PC but this trailer did nothing for me.

Is it just a fan service thing? I feel complete lost looking at the responses in this thread.

Can't speak for others. As stupid and overwrought the plot for this thing is, after following it for nearly two decades you kind of get invested in it. If you're new to the franchise then, yeah, no surprise it doesn't do much for you.

Just want to say again, FOX Engine is insanely impressive.

Cross gen or not, the visuals are just beautifully designed while holding 60fps. This is how I prefer development to be approached. They've had 60fps in this thing for ages now and it's just looking so polished.

They made smart artistic choices to work around limitations while focusing on a high frame-rate. Very very slick.

it's the overall image quality that matters. it looks beautiful.

Same. Played through the series a year ago, and the fact that this trailer implies that this game could expand on the ideas of MGS2 hit me pretty hard.
