The briefing hair color is ambiguous and could be explained either by lighting or Snake dyeing his hair.
Liquid is naturally blonde.
The team toyed with the concept of making Snake naturally blonde in MGS2, but later decided against it as brown was iconic of his character at that point. (Citation needed, but it's out there - I distinctly recall reading this at some point)
Brown became official hair color. Big Boss is also brown haired.
Need explanation for Liquid. Bleached by the sun in Afghanistan.
If you look at the creative process behind it, it becomes clear. It wasn't decided from the beginning, but Solid and Naked have brown hair and Liquid has blonde, which became lighter early on in his life.
The second boy in the trailer is not Solid, as the clothes don't suit his character, and the scars and blisters are identical. HOWEVER, the "second Eli", which is left up to interpretation, is clearly symbolic of the existence of Solid Snake, even if it isn't him, as there's no other reason to mention the LET at that point.
I don't think so. No character deaths or plot revelations outside of character introductions. Just vague hints that could mean a number of things.
There's stuff in there, but honestly the context is missing. Its why I hate "spoilers" because the definition can vary from person to person.

Don't like the way it looks. Seems too "plastic" in appearance. Can't put my finger on it but something isn't doing it for me.

Come on guys. It is ridiculous to ask if you are going to be spoilt by a trailer. Nobody knows what the final game has in its story. Plus Kojima has a history for making trailers that deceive its audience.
If you want to go in the game blind, don't watch trailers, it's simple as that.
that isn't a spoiler, there's Liquid in the game and so even Snake.
Heck, I'd go one step further and say if you're that worried about spoilers, don't read a thread discussing the trailer.
Do we know which character's were doing the voice over?
The ones I could tell:
2nd, Kaz
4th, Big Boss
Guessing the 1st and 3rd might be Skullface and maybe Codetalker. That mask he was wearing was sick. Straight up Zorro right there. The theme for this game just looks so crazy. Even though this trailer spoiled A LOT I think there will be a ton of misdirection in these trailers.

I mean seriously Kojima! Solid Snake, Metal Gear Rex, and the AI pod of the boss! Has to be about the creation of the Patriots in the form they were in by MGS2.

I wouldn't say grows. It's being pushed out by his body as the game progresses, it's embedded pretty deep in his skull and is the physical cause of his mental illness.

I hope this happens in game as well. Call in helicopter with Quiet on board and pull out cigar haha.

depending on genes, sun exposure and other factors, it's common for blonde-haired children to slowly turn brunette as they get older. It happened to me and most of the men in my family. Maybe even Big Boss was blonde as a boy?

That spinning looks really strange, it's spinning on it's own instead of Snake manipulating it to do so. At least it doesn't look like he is because of the stiff robot hand. I don't think that's how it works. :|

Really cool. Looks like they've been together since the beginning. I bet they join FOXHOUND at the same time.
For those who think it's two Eli's rather than David and Eli (Solid & Liquid), what if by the end of this game, one of the twins forgets who he is and is taken by the enemy (Patriots). The other stays free, discovers the truth, joins FoxHound later in life (Big Boss joined FoxHound after these events also); takes his new FoxHound troop and leads a rebellion at Shadow Moses. The "lost" twin, who has been trained exceptionally but still doesn't remember his past history, takes down Liquid.

I had missed it in the stream, it's amusing (and relevant) they chose a Cioran quote. On top of being a philosopher of despair, he's a guy who changed the language he used from Romanian to French to change who he was and leave behind some heavy political/ideological baggage.

As someone who's a huge critic of the writing and story throughout the MGS series, the writing in the long trailer is actually pretty solid.
Most of it is solidly written homage to Orwell's 1984 and other lingo-focused classics and dystopian fictions.
All a lot better than his previous showings
