PlayStation E3 Experience 2015 Announced (Theaters)

Portland, OR theater was on valium btw. FFVII happened and I was the only one hollering. Well, my buddy next to me was too but I could only see his mouth moving because I was so loud myself.

Also when Shenmue 3 got shown we were out of our minds and I think we were the only ones. Not sure. Seemed waaay too quiet.

Also we may have been the only ones to take showers today.
 
I just checked my credit card and I did really just get charged for a 12 month ps+ sub after entering the code on the site. Really odd.

All of us cut up at the Disney Infinity hype man and the Uncharted demo hiccup. Shit was great.
 
Cincinnati GAF here; what a great fucking show. I love that I can say that I watched the trailers for The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 remake and Shenmue 3 on the big screen.

Yep I just got back myself. I tried to record the Last Guardian reaction but my phone fucked up, uploading the FF7 reaction to youtube as we speak.
 
The codes weren't that great this time, huh. I don't totally regret not going there this time... but some of the reactions must have been insane.
 
Assholes actually paused our stream cause they fucked up and waited till exactly 8:30 to try and let the huge line in which of course took them longer than they thought. Was worth it for the Last Guardian and FF 7 reactions, especially the FF worlds troll job. Also left before finish so just now learned what was in code. man that sucks, I thought Battlefront beta was a given with the sticker and lanyard and maybe a SF 5 beta with the plus card but nothing really? Thattttt blows. Is the shadow of colussus code redeemable or does it start as soon as you redeem the lanyard code?
 
It was okay, but it's definitely not something I'd ever do again. Too many smelly, loud motherfuckers. Plus, there was a guy that was a row back from me who was basically grunting the entire time. If that was one of you, then you're a weird dude.

Much rather just watch it in my pants at home and shit around on the internet/gaf at the same time.
 
There were less people than last year in Houston, but it could be attributed to the tropical storm and heavy rain we had tonight. Overall, loud crowd and was good fun.

Probably my favorite E3 conference! Sony really delivered with Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII, and Shenmue 3.
 
Guy in Birmingham seriously stood up pointing at the screen shouting "What the f is that, What the F is that!" followed by an
"Am I fucking drunk, am I dreaming?" at the Shinmue 3 reveal.
 
Louisville, Kentucky showing was a lot better than last year. Got some good cheers at each of the big 3 reveals. Nothing too insane, but I was super glad I was there. I'm still speechless at everything we got. I don't know if I was speaking loudly or not, but I feel kind of bad in retrospect for saying the thing before it would happen. TLG, Shenmue once the first petal fell, FF7, Cammy and Birdie, and all that. Also the first time I experienced streetpasses to a big degree. Pretty great showing in general.

As far as swag goes I got the same most people got and also a Pixels poster because uh, Adam Sandler or something.

Oh yeah and as far as fuckups go, we had no audio during media molecules presenter man talking about whatever not puppeteer 2 thing. The lights also came on at some point and we were getting what sounded like ads played before a movie. It was weird, but at least it didn't happen during an important part. Everyone also collectively lost their shit at the Uncharted demo breaking.
 
I didn't get a sticker. Wtf mang.

Yo this shit was crazy though. I can't believe I went to the E3 experience this fucking year. It was glorious.

I was absolutely furious about this. But I hope you got over it.

I started watching the Sony stream on my phone and I was thinking "I can't believe I'm going to have to watch this shit on my cell phone because these assholes couldn't figure out how to deal with a long line. I drove all this way just to have to watch the presentation on a 4" phone screen".

And then I realized that the reason I came was to watch with a big crowd and feel all its enthusiasm, and not to see the presentation live and get news the moment it happened. I put down my phone and had fun seeing all the huge crowd reactions, despite the fact that there were probably 15 minutes after the fact.

I am sorry we couldn't put together a Jacksonville-GAF pre-show meetup. Though with the Ubisoft conference running as long as it did there might not have been much time anyway. It would have been fun to get drinks with other GAFers beforehand, though I'm not sure there were even any bars near the theatre.

SF was great... lots of room down in the front. Surprised there were so many seats, but last year's experience might've scarred some off. Last year the video feed would stutter or at one time I think it went down, I forget.

tonight though... everything went smooth. Fans were excited. Clapping.
 
That was incredible guys. I lost my voice at all the announcements and quite nearly broke into tears when the Shenmue announcement came up.

Sony wins guys. I need some rest.

I was 5th row from the bottom up. I was sitting along side Nicko and Xenorevlis. Yeah I was surprised to see the bottom rather empty. Yup, the feed was good. Quality was alright but no major problems. Fun time.
 
Hawaii Gaf were you there? I totally forgot to shout out to you. I was the lone MVP helping with the kind and swag and getting pics of you all. Hope you had fun.

Theater in Honolulu was only about 75 seats filled.
 
Was my first conference ever. Was glorious. Free food and drinks before the event and got to meet a few people ( highlights being Mark Cerny and Ono!)
 
Unions square 14 NYC was good ! That drunk guy walking down the lisle talking s$&@ during the showing of TLG messed it up for me but everything was good! Wish the swag was better but it was good.
 
Man, I wish I pulled my phone out and recorded shit. But I was worried about the whole "filming in a theatre" thing. Nothing woulda happened, but I didn't want to take chances.
