Nintendo E3 2015 Event Schedule

Some people in here are weird. Why would you want NX or mobile stuff at this E3? Systems don't get full blowouts until months before they launch. Since NX won't come out this fall, what could they possibly tell you about it that you would care about now and or remember for more than a few weeks? What could they tell you about it now that would help their current products sell? As for mobile games, E3 is typically an event for traditional game and time to hype that stuff up. I can assure you GAF as a whole would turn into a ball of rage if Nintendo dedicated any significant portion for their event to mobile games.

The unified account online stuff/replacement for club Nintendo takes too long to say, but that.

I'm just thrilled that I'm less than 6 months away from playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. Super Mario Maker looks like a lot of fun, and SMT x Fire Emblem will be out within a year (hopefully).

EDIT: Oh, and Star Fox too!

I'm surprised more people are anxiously awaiting Starfox. Yeah we "know" about it. But we really don't know shit about it. Which really is the whole point of watching this stuff, not for a bullet point on a list, but to see the games in action. Same reason why cg trailers are a snooze fest even if they're selling the concept.
Speaking of which, has that little shit been nerfed yet?
Twice now.

Hmm...

- Hoping for Retro to show DKCR3 today. I'll be disappointed if its another Metroid Prime. Not that the Prime series isn't great, because it is, but Retro is doing fine work with Donkey Kong so they should finish the trilogy... if they are even thinking about doing a trilogy for Donkey Kong! =p

- Hoping that the next Star Fox is great. Might be hard to defeat the nostalgia in my head in regards to SF64 though.

- Maybe bring in the virtual console systems that are stuck on the Wii side like Genesis, TG16, etc. Or maybe they can't due to licensing? I dunno.

- Hoping for Kid Icarus Uprising port to Wii U. I'm a lefty and its still tough for me to control the game on the 3DS.

I heard that Rhythm Heaven 3DS is coming to the West, but in order to appeal to gamers they've worked with Kojima Productions to produce a Metal Gear crossover called Rhythm Outer Heaven.

don't expect too much from the direct, there's already a bunch of stuff in the pipeline after all

treehouse stream will be amazing, though

horizon looked better than TLG and FFVII imo

Yeah, because it showed interesting gameplay. TLG...looked exactly the same as it did when it was first annouced and FFVII was just a cinematic trailer from the guy who needs like 7 years to make a game whose also working on like two other ones. I'm still not understanding why people aren't caring about Horizon or No Man's Sky. Those actually looked cool.

Well, I'm specting they show a Fatal Frame english trailer, along Xenoblade english trailer, some amiibo stuff, details on Super Mario Maker, some shit about Smash, details on Hyrule Warriors 3DS, and that's it.

I think megatons (if any) will be delivered by Iwata next week, in the investors meeting.

Gonna give La Lu Li Le Lo a whole new meaning

people seem excited for that horizon game

I was excited too

then I realized it's being made by the killzone team and is nearly guaranteed to be mediocre

how many games demo pretty at E3 and turn out to be completely average, or even awful? remember watch dogs?

Why would Iwata deliver megatons at an investors meeting? And keep in mind this event is being streamed in Japan and other countries as well

Whatever happens, this was a good E3 already, lots of surprising announcements!

Remember some awful years when all companies dissapointed?

YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS

I'm excited to see what style they decide to go with for the characters!

I want a live action direct, people wearing really bad quality costumes pretending to be the nintendo characters.... and for one character I want just an animal, like replacing fox with an actual fox.

It's the only reason I'm being cautious in my optimism. It looks wonderful, aside from the absolutely braindead robot dinosaurs in nature premise, but the dev has never once wowed me apart from making pretty games.
