I understand the disappointment, I really do, but c'mon guys, it could be fun! I'm just happy to see an acknowledgment of the franchise's existence. Now that we know they weren't lying when they said they were developing 3DS Metroid we can assume they weren't lying when they said they were developing Wii U Metroid as well.

It's a shame, a 2d metroid on 3DS could have been amazing.

I just don't care much for a prime hunters type game on 3ds. Even less that it appears to be a co-op shooter.

At least it's not another M game...

In sure your right but the point is that people want a traditional Metroidgame, whether it be in 2d or 3d. Of this were to be announced alongside another Metroid game, idbe fine with it. Its like really really wanting a pizza but you end up with chicken salad instead. Sure, its tasty but itsnot what you wanted.
