Unlikely its coming to another platform. They didnt shy away from saying FF7Remake and The world of final fantasy is coming to other platforms. So it seems unlikely.

What a twist! Nier was one of my favorite games of last gen, and I was yelling throughout this entire trailer. I can't wait.

If you bought a x1 expecting these types of unique and Japanese games you got the wrong console. They just sell very little on Xbox.

This game is all I care about the rest of e3 doesn't matter at all. Taro Yoko, Nier, Platinum games. I'm so incredibly happy right now.

FF7R and The other spin off are both jrpgs no? They both said they were coming to other platforms immediately at the announcements both of which are arguably much bigger than nier.
Im not saying its definitely not coming but its more unlikely.

This is a legitimate concern, but I generally feel Platinum always puts a ton of variety inside and built around their core concepts. This might be somewhat more of a concern without a Mikami or Kamiya involved, but I'm comfortable with Inaba producing and the game designer of Rising and Anarchy Reigns involved.
And without Kamiya involved, you don't have to worry about a Space Harrier stage

American Nier? 100% not, since he's not canon. Japanese Nier? 99% unlikely, it wouldn't follow Taro Yoko's style.

Sometimes you don't realize you have a dream game until it's been announced. One of the most most underappreciated games last gen plus one of my favorite developers makes me incredibly excited for more info.

I didn't get to play Nier since I didn't own a PS3/XBOX360, but I absolutely loved the concept of the game, its aesthetics, and of course, its soundtrack.
I never thought a Nier 2 or a follow-up game would even be considered, but holy crap this took me by surprise. I will definitely get this.

He should appear, or atleast linked to the story. It's Nier afterall.

I thought that the explanation for that was that in some timelines it's Brother and some timelines it's Father.
But I think Brother is 100% more canon anyway.
