For those of you who may not have an idea what is going on. The GT team was very excited to see all of the megatons dropped during the Sony conference.

Shenmue III reaction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXJTWEEi6BM

It was one of the most genuine and exciting things to witness about E3. A very emotional reaction from the team when Shenmue III is finally announced. I turns out Yu Suzuki saw this, and enjoyed their reaction himself too.

All around magnificent stuff happening here.

I never played a Shenmue game in my life but that moment was special to see.

It sums up why people love videogames, that connection and that moment summerizes gaming to me. We're all kids having fun.

one of the best moments of e3. it was pure unadulterated joy. his enthusiasm was infectious. even if you don't care for the game, how can you not be happy for huber? for him (and many others) dreams really do come true.

That just takes the cake of recognition right then and there. You get the announcement AND a response from the very creator right there. It can't get any better for Huber and certainly one tier that is priceless.

:lol

Their reactions to FFVII then immediately after Shenmue 3 (when there were still in shock from the first megaton) will forever be legendary and the image that comes into my mind when I think back on this conference.

His reaction just warms my heart because I felt the same way but he was on another level of excitement and those kinds of reactions are what make E3's legendary. Sony's presence this year was the best ever.

Strangest part of this is that the company once blamed for Shenmue's story being left incomplete is the one helping to finish the series. Could not have foreseen this all those years ago.

No comparison pic from the Giant Bomb ppl? For some reason I picture the joyless fucks looking like that meme with the cat that says no.

That look on his face is like he just heard a Looking for Sailors simulation game is finally being kickstarted.

I'm so happy I can make a joke like that.

What, Sega? Sega isn't involved with this. Sony is throwing the money at Yu Suzuki and team to help make it.

They should cancel E3 for the next 5 years. The megatons could have easily spread out in years. All happening under 60 minutes created a small tear in the space-time continuum.

Oh wow, this is so amazing. All of this is surreal.

The whole GT coverage was insane. From Huber losing it to Shenmue, to Brandon Jones intense debate with Ben Moore and Ian Hinck over No Man's Sky. This picture just kind of brings it all around. It's awesome.

Shenmue was one of the reasons why my brother and I pooled our money together and bought a Dreamcast.

I'm so glad to see this game is finally getting made.

One of the highlights for me at E3.

I really regret watching GiantBomb stream. Never again. Just was just constant criticisms and pessimism. Fuck that. Just one big regret.

They were pretty shocked to say the least, too. Not overly hype, but definitely surprised.

And remember, GB has been doing this for a while. Their main concern is really what's coming up for them soon. Not in 2018.
