EDFX makes the graphics “more realistic” as you can see from the sample shots below (more can be found on the EDFX page). There is quite a difference and they do look a little more “realistic” when you examine the lighting.

The good news for anyone tinkering with the utility is that it can also be tested with other games thanks to the ability to <Add 32bit Game> or <Add 64bit Game> options that are included in the latest version.

EDFX EnhanceD FX Graphics is available here and it’s worth a look if you’re not satisfied with The Witcher 3 lighting. If you do grab the file, make sure you check the included ReadMe files so you understand how this functions.

Is there a pad friendly mod that lets you fast travel from anywhere?

You might be careful- it's possible it could break some scripting. There are certain scenes where scripts kick off entering or exiting places because CDPR knows that you can only fast travel via specific points.

Use the command AllowFT(1) in the debug console

Thanks!

Already beat the game so I'm not too worried about it breaking stuff, but I'll be careful where I use it for sure.

Is the cutscene lighting mod out yet? The one from the videos not the one thats been out for days.

Also, this hunters config. I know it's supposed to be user friendly, but there are so many sliders. Which ones should I increase for better LoD/Pop in in Novigrad. Fine with the vegetation on Ultra, but I would like to push buildings and NPC's out a bit further.

Has anyone found a way to add your own music into the game? I was thinking of adding some Witcher 1 and 2 into the mix.

I'm really hoping for some sort of map mod that makes the world map full screen. It drives me nuts to see that massive black border around it every time I open it.

Really though when does that Cutscene lighting mod release? Anxious to try it out.

And are there any .ini tweaks that allow me to increase the LoD/Pop In of buildings in Novigrad?

Vegetation doesn't bother me at all on default ultra settings, but buildings in Novigrad change LoDs much too aggressively for my liking. Would love to push that a little further. Or do we have to wait for Redkit. Or is it not even possible due to the baked assets thing?

Beard Hairworks is still on with the mod, only Geralt's hair is off. Perfect mod.
There's also an update regarding hair DLC:
Added hairstyles DLC support to FILES/MISCELLANEOUS. DLC users must install BOTH normal and DLC versions.

A sample of some of the changes. More at the link

General:

Increased damage of enemies on normal and above difficulties; slightly for normal, moderately for broken bones and greatly for death march.
Increased enemies' resistances reductions for death march and added them to broken bones difficulty too.
Increased roll and parrying stamina delay

Reasons for these changes:

Death March should be an hardcore mode, but it is not so difficult in vanilla and as far as broken bones, well, that's as normal difficulty in Witcher 2. With these changes the two modes, especially DM, should be much more difficult. Incoming changes to enemies strength based on threat level will consolidate this increase in overall difficulty of the game.
Roll spamming is not penalized enough in the default game and parrying is too cheap. I don't want to add a base stamina cost to these actions (so as not to change the gameplay dynamics too much) but I wanted the two actions to have a little more cost as far as stamina goes.

I am not into programming at all. But wouldn't a solution to making the camera closer and more immersive while still allowing combat camera mode to be switched to, would be to make the game think you are overweight in inventory? That seems to be the camera position and walk speed we want, just modify it to allow jogging and sprinting with "a" ?

I don't see how this is "better", looks like all it really does is makes combat more drawn out.

Yeah. Normal mobs are difficult enough already. Not to say they are difficult but anything more is pain in the ass territory. What I'd like to see specifically is contract monster given much more health. Damage they do is ok but the fights are over way too quick. The hunts I did around level 10-15 were the most fun like Jenny O' The Woods. Fight was a good 5 minutes on Death March. Level 30 ones take me 30 seconds.

Is there some mod to get rid of the weapon and armour degradation? The thing is stupid, it even goes down when you are not using them. Wouldnt be a problem if it didnt cost to much too fix them but its absurd and the fixing items do very little.
Worst feature in the game.

Sometimes, my game just go back to the desktop(without crashing), but I can't go back to the game... I hear the voices from the cutscenes continuing, but that's it... is this caused by using Cheat Engine or is that some unfortunate glitch from the game?

Did you download the latest version? I had the same issues as you did, but just downloaded the newest version for 1.06. Everything seems to be running well so far..

Latest version of Cheat Engine or the Witcher 3 file for it? I think I've been using the same stuff since 1.03 or 1.04

The latest version of the WItcher 3 files for it. I just downloaded it a few hours ago, so I have not spent that much time playing so far..so cant really say. But I want to assume it will help..

Thanks, I'll try it later today. Hopefully it works, having the game "bug" after 5 minutes of cutscene or a long walk between checkpoints is a pain. Happen to me almost everyday. I have to do quick saves all the time to make sure I don't lose too much progress.
