That seems incredibly short-sighted for the promotion of his game. If he was anyone but a big industry dude his game would be flatlining in popularity right now, with no one talking about it at all. I mean, even with his stature it's almost at that point right now.

I am not sure about that but since that one picture was used all over he certainly has been playing up the "jaw drop" in all VR tests.

I can sort of understand Jaffe getting upset about the criticism on that one Bombcast. Patrick especially got a bit personal with Jaffe and not just the game. But I'm not sure if Jaffe holds any grudges over that, he's well known to blow up on Twitter about a lot of shit.

It was worse when he mocked forum posts in the next trailer. Most devs have a thicker skin. I am sure it fueled the "feud" in Jaffe's head that he pulled most of those posts from the GB forums. He got plenty of shit on here too but he is at least smart enough not to pick a fight with GAF. Ask Dennis Dyack about that.

I'm still interested in the Xbox One Elite controller, but $150 is pretty steep. And how much is the wireless dongle going to be on top of that?

What's the difference between the green d-pad and the silver one? Also, I hope the paddles can be used as additional inputs instead of just of just mirroring other buttons.

Going only by what was shown off, it looks like the silver one is designed to help with circular inputs, such as what you would do in a fighting game or something that involves diagonal inputs. It looks more like a cover for the green d-pad, which appears to have little bits of plastic to prevent diagonal input.

I believe the green is just the socket that the two silver pieces (d-pad and whatever they're calling that round thing) go in.

To me, I think it's fine to say what you want to say about a game, I don't think you should call the guy who made it an out of touch old man trying to be cool. That's a bit over the line to me. I can see someone being upset about that.
