I just reached the segment with the drunk trash bags. Yep, this is amazing.

Urghhh, these drunk segments are just not fun to listen to at all. Everybody just shouting over each other all the time.

All the other segments were great though, Jeff really is an awesome host. Some very good discussions this year. Giant bomb knocking it out of the park!

I think they're fine when they're just fucking around. It's terrible when they are trying to have a serious conversation, but that whole segment was just Dave Lang being pissed.

I don't think you were going to get much more out of those three since two of them already had "proper" segments. Although I guess you could consider it a missed opportunity for someone else to be on.

Listening to the Bugnie/Destiny segmant of night 2 is kind of frustrating. Jeff goes on a rant about some part of the game, and the answer is basically "We want it to be different......but it's not..... What'd you think of that new subclass?"

IIRC the name came up when they were having a discussion about shipping broken games. But since he works on third-party games he was talking about how one of the big things they are stressing to third parties in meetings this year is QC and shipping games that work. But he has no direct involvement with first party stuff like DC so he didn't address that specifically.

It's not like the old days where you have to go through a Rolodex and call each person on them to let them know about the updated number. A mass text message or email and bam, you're done. I think both android and iOS have contact backup too. So yeah it was a dumb thing to do, but it's not like he did irreparable damage and it was funny as hell.

Yep. I would be more nervous about Disney's reaction. But since they didn't give him any handlers after GDC I'm pretty confident that he'll be okay in the end. Adam Boyes seemed to enjoy it going by his tweet after the show :p

i personally don't like their style too much either - which is probably why I find it impossible to get into FGC events.I hate any "Hyped Radio DJ" style voiceovers on Youtube, so this probably matches up here.too

To be fair, they aren't your usual tournament commentators, not even for the Capcom events, there are better ones. But they do stuff like this and "garbage" is maybe a little much.
