Oh god, Lang and Adam having to stop Johnny from tweeting his own number out killed me. Johnny was seriously mind fucked and the best part Lang was right, he never even teased him.

What an amazing E3.

Takeaways:

1) Lots of VR talk today but it was all handled fairly well and actually got me interested to try it soon.

2) I could listen to Lorne Lanning talk all day about anything. The guy is just passion personified.

3) Jeff is just a tremendous host who can shift from the humorous to the serious and make it all seem natural.

4) HOLY SHIT THAT LAST SEGMENT. JUST, HOLY SHIT.

Lang said like one thing that he misinterpreted, and Boyes said something about Lang secretly hating Johnny for two years. That was the start of it. He fiddled with his phone for a long while trying to send that message.

Just remember that this same stream also gave us great interviews with Phil Spencer, Robin Hunicke with 343 guys and all the awesome VR talk.

Oh man, I'm sure the perfect time for someone to fuck with your phone is right after the industry's biggest event where you've just talked about how good business it and no doubt cut a few deals...

Hopefully he has a good PA

Exactly.....I think alot of people guffawing in this thread don't realise how huge this is. This could actually cost them millions in lost deals if/when he loses that number

As if his job would be in danger for a dick move he did on his own time.

he's a rather public facing employee of one of the largest entertainment conglomerates on the planet. maybe he won't lose his job, but he's certainly going to get an ear full from somebody.

Holy shit my throat hurts from laughing. How can it take so long to delete a tweet and then not end up actually deleting it. Felt like I was watching a vaudeville routine.

It's so fascinating to watch Jeff in absolute control keeping all the E3 show guests in check and keeping the flow going but absolutely losing that control when it's Lang, Vignocchi, and Boyes on the couch. That trio is like Jeff's hosting kryptonite.

What do you guys think the chances are of that entire segment getting archived on the site?
Probably tomorrow. Drew is good about things like that. Even if they're packing up he'd at least try to get it done.

I doubt things are moving that fast in the video game industry. Also, I am sure he has a work phone number where he takes a lot of these calls.

As a PR move, this is the sort of thing you don't really want an employee to be doing when they technically represent the company. Especially for a children's game. And when said employee is a community figurehead for said children's game.

That said, Johnny has been this drunk on streams before. If Disney didn't have an issue with it then, it's probably not a dealbreaker now.

The real question mark here is his relationship with Lang. Cause holy shit.

Thanks duders for the great coverage and dumb drunken stuff this week! And thanks to the posters here for friendly commentary that was great to read through. My second E3 with GB and really enjoyed it.

Johnny V is gonna have the worst morning.

Lang's business organization game has gotta be on point. Most of his cleanup probably involves a few mass-emails to some business lists, a new business card, and a bunch of texts to his contacts.

I kind of doubt it. A talking to from HR, maybe, but he's appeared drunk as hell on stream for years.

Lol. I thought at last years E3 he mentioned he had a handler or something now because of an incident a few years prior? If he didn't have one already, he might now lol.

Fantastic. Boyes (I know you read here), Johnny, Lang, reminds me of me and my best friends (best men in my upcoming wedding as well). We mess with each other like that and worse, and out of all the friends I've had, we're the one's that stick together despite that messing around, so that's a good thing.

This was the best show I watched in a long while. Seriously, fantastic job GB overall on this show. The talk-over shows though made it seem like you were watching someone pushing babies holding puppies and kittens in strollers into traffic, damn.

Will watch 2016.

Nah man, this is some real shit. Their relationship will be stronger with yet another shitty story to tell.
