There was only one way to go. The ramp was covered with enemy ink somehow.

I don't know why I bother rushing to the middle, no one is there with me 90% of the time.

People on my team who just post up on a ledge and shoot down at the zone the majority of the match get on my nerves. Unless you have a charger or squelcher, take your ass down to the zone and get your hands dirty.

I was just guilty of this on Arowana Mall, but then I had a .96 gal and was actually doing a good job of covering the zone using the gun's long range and sprinkler. I'd follow up with Echolocator to make sure nobody would get me from the adjacent ledge and it was working well and we had the lead...

Until the rest of my team said "GOOD IDEA!" and jumped in on my position blocking my shots. And they had Aerosprays that couldn't do jack from that ledge. The other team flanked us and pushed us back and won. The in-game comms really need a "Go Away!" message or a way to disable super jumps on you.

I couldn't win a game for love nor money this morning. Then, this afternoon, I suddenly win nine in a row without breaking a sweat (well, one was close, the rest were outright knockouts). I'm not sure I'll allow myself to believe I've learned and improved - but maybe I have.

The big annoyance I'm having now is using the charge rifle, I let go of the trigger and go to squid mode immediately and it doesn't shoot, it just goes to squid mode.

It should be more like snap-switch. Like firing a shot with the awp and switching to knife in counter strike.

But its more like snap, wait, switch.

I just had the funniest kill on Rig. So this guy was standing on the little ledge here:

He pulled out his ink strike and I threw a burst bomb against him, which knocked him back. It made him fall in the water while still having the inkstrike equipment displayed. The ink strike still managed to lift off, I wonder if he shot it before or after hitting the water, or what kind of animation it had.

I wonder if they have some single player dlc planned. They probably weren't sure how the game would be received and made it shorter to save on budget.

I'd buy a dlc single player and multiplayer pack.

I tend to use the same weapons in Ranked as i do in Regular matches. Where Splash-o-Matic, Inkbrush and N-Zap '85 are the most used and my favorite weapons so far.

1 - how are you guys playing against other Gaffers? I can only see normal and 'play with friend' and then you have to pick which friend (most of which aren't playing splatoon). Doesn't seem to filter those that are playing. I had hoped it would be like the normal game, only preferring friends.


2 - screw the end boss in single player. Finally did it, but it wasn't fun at the end, just annoying. Way too long

Agreed. Even more annoying in the Amiibo challenges with the charger and roller. Not sure I'll finish those as I don't care about the weapon unlocks.

I love how it's configured with its good range, the Sprinkler and Echolocator.

We were dominating quite hard though. I doubt i'll reach anywhere near that number in a GAF room.

My main gear includes a lot of Run Speed Up and it's really fun having that extra speed with the Nozzle.

Custom lobbies I believe come out in an August update but I'm not sure of the exact details of how it works. thanks. But does 'play with friends' filter the list so those people that show up are actually playing splatoon now? Or is it just all your friends and its a crap shoot if they're playing?
