The only story elements that carry over from AA into AC are the Titan crap (minor), Scarecrow (minor, sets up AC's tease for AK) and Joker's state. The post credits scene is random too, which sucks (it should've always been

If you had to choose between the two games, AC has more significant story elements when it comes to AK.
They're on sale on the EU PSN, it's a lot cheaper than the 30-35 trilogy edition and from a quick google search there doesn't seem to be a lot of differences between 360 and PS3
They really should have released a remastered version (or I should have paid for a real PC)

Man, they really need to start the pre-load. My internet is slow as shit and it needs at least 20 hours to download ~45 GB
srsly, I gotta get this on my drive before tomorrow morning because I'm taking it with me on a trip and it's going to be impossible to download it on hotel internet speeds.
I've got pretty fast internet, but there's no way PSN is going to give me the speed I need to finish this in what it should take me.
Not sure whats the reason for delay here something may not be right
Yea if they don't want people to be really pissed they should start it ASAP otherwise some people with slower connection (+PSN obviously) wont finish it until release.

I've bought every game through psn and almost every time the pre load started between one and two hours from now, which means like a day and a half before launch date. The only exception was The Witcher 3 which pre load startsd like 5 days before the deadline, go figure.

Batman as the "Gotham Knight" and not "The Dark Knight", I mean I know both tags have been used before but maybe Gotham Knight doesn't actually refer to Bruce Wayne as Batman?
The digital version of W3 was self published and I recall CDPR saying they were "working with Sony" to make the preload available asap. Usually, they go up on PSN Sunday around noon pst, so it should be up sometime in the next 3.5hours.

DLC and skin codes don't seem to live yet according to those with the game.
I've seen some potato footage of the Xbox One version on Instagram if that counts? lol
yeah there was a survey leaked for an Asylum+City remastered, maybe for later this year. that means it won't be cheap until 1 year, and there is no port for Origins coming. I hope they aged well like Red Dead did

A question for the people who have the game. How do they handle the areas that were in Arkham City. Are they completely redesigned or are they just a bit bigger and more detailed to accommodate the batmobile.
I'm guessing that like AC, there's quite a few "soft" QTEs that you need to simply counter out of but would be entirely frustrating for someone who hasn't played through it and wonder why the scene keeps on playing (for example - the intro in AC where Bruce is getting his shit kicked in by a guard. You have to hit Y/Triangle/RMB but if the prompt wasn't there the first time through you might not know what to do/not everyone button mashes through scenes to see if something works.
I don't have the game but I heard that the Arkham City area just isn't in it - supposedly completely flooded in-story.
