I notice that I only bought a few weapons since I don't want to switch my lovely original .52. I'll just spend my money on gears.
One thing occur to me that, it will be weird when we have three rank modes but only one rank level.

Finally reached A- and ranked matches are getting intense. Two in three are down to the wire and can change in an instant. Warehouse matches be like -
Unfortunately I'm going away for a week so will undoubtedly be rusty/drop back upon my return. Do we have any idea on when the next map is due to hit? Not a fan of the depot.

It seems Ink refill up doesnt do that much. Isn't it useless?
It helps a lot in the midle of a inkfight, getting you some extra ink every time you dive in to reposition. If you are alone in the other side of the map, well, it doesnt do anything
The 1 refill up sure seems useless, but with two, there's like 20 % gain, it'd be appreciated with my dynamo in fights.

Nearly every ability "doesn't do much". A difference is still a difference.
What you need is a higher upload speed. You should ask for that.

If you're talking about those small dots that appear as it is filling up, I'm pretty sure that is due to low dithering on the GIF itself.
well your connection is comparable to mine. And it doesn't help that we're both from Europe
as DaBoss said, you need better upload speed. I'm upgrading to down. 30.00 Mbit and up. 4.00 Mbit next month, this should hopefully fix some of the lag issues

I'm not sure if I like the Luna Blaster - the blast radius is only slightly larger and the fire rate isn't that much better

So I gave the lunar blaster a few hours, and for the most part it feels similar to the Custom blaster. Obviously the range difference is there, but it's not like it makes that big of a difference. One thing I did notice is that I had an easier time poking around the corners with the lunar and finding enemies hiding in large amount of their own ink, but high ledges like the ones in skate park (tower and the high edge on the right side in your base) and underpass (left side of the map near the center) are harder to hit people. The shots barely make it up there and I think the Custom had an easier time hitting people up there. The Custom blaster has an easier time killing enemies that try to run away as well.
If you're good at getting 1 shots with blaster, then the only difference is the sub and the super. If you're not, the lunar would be better for you.
I'm not sure how well it works with power up, I've only ran with what I normally use for the Custom blaster.

for real, I love the squidvader cap but I just fuckin hate the main ability, so ugh

Hey SplatGAF, I just got this game a few days ago and my family is loving it.
I personally really love single player, its too hard for my kids to play but I'm loving it. Is there any way to get the Amiibo to expand the single player content? I looked on Amazon and it was freaking $70 for the three pack! Are they insane? That's more than the game!
Which Amiibo do you need to play more single player? Jeesh, I hope they release them as cards this Fall.
Oh, I just read the OP and you get new lobby mini games? That's awesome! Which is the best one?

All 3 unlocks challenges that require you to beat some single player (the same levels) mission but with a different gun. When you beat all the missions, you get gear and a minigame. I can't say which is the best since I don't have the amiibos.

My powered up luna blaster tests were disappointing. Felt like less of a range increase than with the custom blaster.

How the hell are there still people who super jump directly into the battle without stealth in rank A lobbies?
Tried the Comeback/ Stealth Jump combo I was thinking about yesterday. Stealth jump is pretty useful, I've been jumping a lot more since I've had it. It does hurt some to give up ink resistance though. Not sure how helpful comeback is in practice, but I've won like 80% of ranked matches since I tried it out and moved up from A- 30 to A 40, so either the new equips are helping or I got gud/lucky.

I did it on accident yesterday in a gaf match. Meant to jump to someone a little further away from the action but touched the wrong player's name on the gamepad.

On a related tangent, I'm curious to hear what GAF thinks on these questions:
1. Who do you think synergizes best or most often with yourself?
2. Who do you consider your primary rivals?
3. Finally, who is your demon (as in you get BTFO whenever they're put against you)?

Can't say for most of this yet since I haven't played with GAF, but I will definitely say that my rival/demon is, unequivocally, anybody at all using a Krak-on Roller. I hate them, now and forevermore, til the end of time, amen.

Yeah normally I do that but for some reason I went with the player icon and misread where the lines were pointing.
It sucks and is really embarrassing because it instantly creates a tough situation for your teammates doing the fighting
Probably, but it depends on your win rate/ rank. You get zero points for a loss, for a win you get a base number of points + 500 points for a knockout. I don't know the base points per win for all the ranks, but I'm getting 3300 base per win at rank A.

Oh wow, that's a lot of variables then. But yeah that's a lot of cash.
Hard to say as I haven't played a ton of matches with Gaf but yesterday I would say my rival was Walkman because we both use the same weapon and were always on the opposite team. Also Totakeke seems to always be on the opposite team as me and uses some of the most difficult weapons to play against so him too.
I only have the girl amiibo and squidball is all right. Squid Beatz would be my favorite I think because it's just a music player with an optional tapping game so you can just listen to the game's soundtrack in the waiting room if you want
I always imagine the Transformers sound effect in my head when I'm clearly in over my head and transition from swish-swish-swish to "nopenopenope" in brush mode. :lol
