I went ahead and got the PS4 version. I only paid $25 for the PC version and not only is this one currently superior by a wide mile, it comes with a ton of free DLC you'd normally only get through pre-order.
This game is now a shoe in for Hottest Mess in the Giant Bomb 2015 GOTY awards

So its safe to say some things still need to be ironed out?
PC ports are going nowhere. Anyone saying this incredibly off base. PC games sell incredibly well over time and give devs / pubs a consistent stream of revenue for years and years. Much longer than consoles with their huge used / pre owned game market.
For example here the list of Steam games that are at least 1 full year old that sold over 200k units during JUST the 2 week Summer Sale
Witcher 2: 305,000 sales
Payday 2: 279,000 sales
Fallout New Vegas: 253,000 sales
Dishonored: 247,000 sales
Metro Last Light: 241,000 sales
Fallout 3: 228,000 sales
Terraria: 225,000 sales
Metro 2033: 221,000 sales
Borderlands 2: 218,000 sales
Age of Empires 2: 216,000 sales
Skyrim: 211,000 sales
And there are tons more over 100k sales. Tell me in NPD how often you see games selling this number of units this long after release? You don't. During the Steam Summer sale over 33 million games were sold for nearly 200 million dollars in revenue.
That's in 2 WEEKS!!! Insanity. PC games are going nowhere, in fact they are growing and growing and growing.
What this cluster fuck tell Devs and Pubs is the days of releasing shit ports and getting away from it are over. Make a solid port and you'll be rewarded. PC gamers will buy your games and support you for years to come. Screw us, and we will say screw you back.
You are going to see more AAA games not release on PC now or just delay.
they really do need to come out tomorrow with a better statement that gives some sort of time frame for what we're looking at
I highly doubt this happens if people weren't getting refunds left and right from Steam. Hopefully WB brings in a new port company and gets this fixed properly. I've enjoyed all three of the other Batman games on PC, hopefully they fix AK so I can play it there too.

Honestly could be months before its back. This thing blew up hugely in their face. You bet when they bring this back it will have all the graphics features as console and run waaaay better than what was released. WB cant afford for this port not to launch fantastic next time so I expect they will take their time with it

I was planning on saving this game until after I finish witcher 3, Dark souls 1 and Sleeping Dogs so I can wait. Such a shock that they let the PC port suck ass like that, hope everything gets fixed and ironed out, I dont want anything compromising my experience with this game.
Ballsy.
Wow!
Just woke up to this. Was expecting a patch to fix some stuff, not this.
This is good. It means they are taking it seriously. The question is though, how long will this take? Weeks? Months?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rocksteady choosing to work on DLC again instead of fixing the PC version.I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Rocksteady fix the port now they are done with the console version.
I always wonder how much profit is being made when the game is sold for $10 or so during a sale.

Wow, is it really that bad?
How the hell does something get released so broken? At least they're doing something about it now, but fixing theses issues should have been done BEFORE release.

Good on them, fix it up and give it the attention it deserves and I'll buy it.

More than what they would get for a used game being sold. But to really answer your question, they are making 70% profit so $7 out of $10.
Sounds good to me. I'd rather have a constant stream of cash than a big pay day at the start and much much less a year later.
Maybe this.
Getting my gpu in 3 weeks. We'll see if I get a well running Batman, or if I pick up Witcher 3.
Mmmmm....sex > poor PC version
Ah yes, good morning. Are you confusing Rocksteady with WB Montreal?
