Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

little known fact - charging mid-air takes longer. It's very noticeable with the E-liter
Oi, I meant sniping Heng while he was in the air, not while I'm in the air. The Squiffer was at about 97% charged, so I mistimed it. It did hit him, but he killed me. At least he got splatted by my ink mine where he landed. =P

Besides, after all of my hours with the Charger and using the pitch of the charging noise as a rough estimate for when to shoot, it became fairly obvious early on that you charge slower in the air. =P Still, it's a really great reminder for those who are new to Chargers.

Yeah the voting booth showed up for NA a full week before the scheduled Splatfest date. Delaying it for NA basically put it on hold for everyone it looks like

Honestly, I think I just haven't been playing it enough. GAF battles are fun and I'm not a fan of last second overtakes or silly team compositions with such heavy terms on losses. I definitely know that setup's utility though as I started ranked with Ninja Squid/Jump and the Aerospray MG (mostly for trolling with cruising Seeker ink paths).
Seeker kills are so fulfilling, I cant wait for the seeker rush xD
It would be really great to have a powerful tailoring mode for Splatoon 2. Then we could design stuff like that for ourselves.
What are we girls mode
Style Savvy
now?

Damn Callie looks so cute here at 1:34 !

They should make you walk to the actual map locations in an open world along with real navigable shops and cafes so the game can be ambitious.

always hilarious when you know you're going to get splatted, send out a seeker, and see it splat the person who splatted you on while you're waiting to re-spawn

lol, oh lord. that thread.

I've realized that the only weapons that splat me are the tenatek splattershot, and 52/96. Everything else is a baby toy.

No, dont you know that the game can only be ambitious if it has realistic graphics and a gritty story that takes itself too seriously behind it?!
Gotta love those moving goalposts ~

Look like we have a badass here, wait until you find a good inkbrush or charger user lol

"Good inkbrush"

Yesterday I had a discussion with a friend on the ideal sanic speed weapon: Inkbrush with Disruptors as a Sub and Kraken as the Special. Go super fast all over and slow everyone else down.

Curious, if you could have any weapon with any combination of subs and specials, what would you have? Make it as broken as possible for bonus points.

here's a ludicrous thing I try once just before I close the game
LayLa's Inkopolis Parkour Challenge : get from Spyke to the Amiibo box without touching the ground - bonus points if you can manage it without stopping

I'd love to flip flop the sub and special for my two main weapons

.52 gal with disruptors and echo locator

splattershot jr. with seekers and inkstrike

I fucking hated seekers until I realized you could do a tiny hop over them and catch the person that thought you were dead with their pants down <3

as a seeker user myself this is why you've gotta squid and get some quick ink and then shoot behind the seeker. half the time my splats after sending a seeker come from me forcing the other player to act.

My favorite Seeker KO to witness or be on the receiving end of for sheer hilarity factor is racing up the lip of some half pipe like structure only for the thing to run smack into you as you try to get over the lip on the other side. I legitimately can't help but crack up laughing when I see it. :lol

I love it when I capture and hold the mid of Saltspray and then the rest of the team completely abandons me for two and a half minutes and then I get splatted once and we lose the match because the lower areas are completely meaningless until the last 30 seconds

The classic Turf Wars experience.

I know what you're referring to, but I actually do always walk to the map locations. I always forget about the gamepad markers and even when I do remember using them feels lazy.

The custom splattershot jr is already perfect.

But a brush with disruptors+echolocator would be awesome.

I do this all the time, it's not that hard. :P

I only wish you could jump on top of the amiibo box.

Aerospray/52Gal + Seekers + Seeker Bomb Rush
Inkbrush + Suction Bombs + Suction Bomb Rush (there'd be nothing you couldn't cover with this setup)

This does remind me of a match with randoms yesterday where we got as close to pushing the opposing team back to the spawn point as you can do on that map. All three of my teammates took control of the upper area while I got the bottom, and then the rest of the match we had a sniper up on the middle high ground and me in the edge of the middle area shooting into the enemy spawn area while the other two went around the bottom areas to pick off anyone who jumped down there. I've never seen a match on saltspray go that way before and it was amazing how well we all synced together to make it happen

Sweet, I think I'm going cat this time as my loyalty changed to Callie...
Btw guys I have a doubt, do seekers fall through grates or they just keep going?
