Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4 is much, much better now. Bless.

One bug I encountered just now was Cody magically teleporting behind my Ultra 2 with Akuma. FYI, Cody doesn't have a teleport move.
 
I'm afraid they might stop updating this version but they have to keep working on it since it's supposed to be used (some day) at the Capcom Pro Tour, right? Still torn on whether I should but this or not. I'm very disappointed it isn't the definitive version we were promised. It should be virtually bug free and run on the equivalent of PC maxed settings.
 
I've also had a Couple odd things happen . Gouken fell out of my e ryu cr jab cr jab cr strong ex tatsu .hit him twice and he was able to block .In hundreds of hours playing never had that happen before
 
I don't think people should declare PS4 glitches unless they know for certain that the "glitch" doesn't happen in other versions.

In threads like this, lots of people have reported "glitches"...and then someone comes along to say "uh, you could always do that."

But, this is the internet, so there's always going to be someone who reads the initial post and misses the correction...and that's how misinformation spreads.

Remember, this game has 44 characters with all sorts of diverse hit boxes, hurt boxes, and situational strangeness (like most fighting games). Not everything is necessarily a "PS4 glitch". Desk has taught us AT LEAST this much...
 
Something i noticed is that my Qanba Q4 is automatically recognized when launching the game.
In the case of MKX for instance i get a Pop Up Screen where i have to accept if i wanna use the Stick.

So yeah, pretty cool.

Any word on input delay when using PS3 sticks after the updates?
 
Fingers crossed they actually looked at the list of shortcomings noted at digital foundry and here and took them to heart. Been trying to make them aware of the feedback.
 
Thinking of picking this up. I am no pro so I doubt I would even care about any issues.

So if this version ended up as the definitive version by say two weeks from now Pro Tour and Evo wouldn't use it? Why is that exactly?
 
I've held off on SF4 all this time, waiting for the version with all the content, and PS4 version is looking like I'm finally going to take the plunge.

I do wish there was a retail version, though. I'm a physical man.
