Leviticus 20:6 ESV
“If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

Leviticus 19:31 ESV
“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 18:10-13 ESV
There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God,

Please tell me more about how you're prophesying the future...

No, it doesn't suck that he can't be elected president. He's a fucking awful politician.

I like him as a person, and I love that he's a macho dude standing up for marriage equality, but he did NOT know what he was doing as governor of California.

Compared to the current carnival of stupid that is the republican primary field, I am sure most of us would rather have arnold than clowns like santorum or jindal.

Even on this great day of equality and tolerance, people on GAF still shit on the entire Sonic fanbase for no reason.

Maybe one day.

Within the last few minutes, I think. Was hoping it would get changed all day as people made suggestions / mockups and now that it has, it's a thing of beauty.

heh if you knew how much work such a small thing took for a few people :P, glad everyone likes it

That's why these mayonnaise-garglers want to take my marriage freedom away so they can gay marry my avocados. Well, guess what gays? I only put real American avocados in my mouth. SUPRISE MOTHERFUCKERS

What a perversion! First they make guacamole without tomato, onion and cilantro, and now this? What's next? Eating you avocado without salt!?

"This morning I read Exodus 7~11 about the plagues that came against Egypt and how the Lord had hardened Pharaoh`s heart to where he could not see or believe any of the plagues were caused by God`s wrath. Denial keeps people blind."

I'm not familiar with this bible verse, but I love how it sounds like god specifically alters the guy's mind to make him unable to realize his wrongdoings or "repent" and then keeps punishing him for it.

If there's one reason I'm agnostic it's because god often sounds like some sort of omnipotent teenager.

Arnold is politically vacuous and was a non-entity as a governor. Someone who sought power for fame's sake and when he got it realized he had no idea what to do with it. He did nothing for 8 years, rarely even tried to do anything, and he has no policy stances of note on any issue ever. If he's in the presidential conversation it's because people are impressed by optics and people saying canned lines and the fact that the guy "acts" in 9-figure budget CG shitfests. "I'LL TERMINATE CONGRESS!!!!"

I'm not a Republican (or someone legally allowed to vote in the US)--but there are Republicans in the field who are manifestly unqualified regardless of their policy stances, and then there are Republicans who are basically qualified (but arguably wrong on the issues). Like, I don't think Scott Walker would make a good president, and I disagree with a lot of what he's done on Wisconsin. I wouldn't give him a high rating. But he's not someone whose mere presence in the conversation makes a mockery of the election process. Whereas a Donald Trump or Arnold is, imho.

God Sonic fans are so weird.

Some of us just love fast, stylish platformers.
I don't know what it is about Sonic that seems to attract so many broken people.
It's one of those fandoms where you keep it to yourself because once you say "I love Sonic!" people want you to check out their DeviantArt page and make out with your cat.

That's why I don't bring up Sonic in mixed company.

Worth every drop of sweat.

Without sounding too sappy, I really do appreciate the work the mods and admins do around here to keep this place a peaceful little island of tolerance in the middle of a big, noisy, hateful internet ocean. It's a testament to this community and its shepherds that when I wander over to Reddit or some other gaming site or something and see all the racist / sexist / homophobic / transphobic / etc. comments, it genuinely shocks me now instead of being "just how the internet is."

As someone who has basically grown up with gaming forums as a significant social outlet I don't think it's possible to understate how unique GAF really is.

Damn, you just made Arnold sound so appealing.

IIRC, they donate (or donated) to anti-gay marriage organizations.
They donate to a whole cornucopia of right-wing groups, including some organizations that spew anti-gay rhetoric, push for ex-gay therapy, and rally for horrible laws in other countries.

Though there does seem to be this lingering impression that the boycott was only over the CEO's marriage comments.

Is Bryan Fisher that senile, or is it just me?

He's one of the most prominent anti-gay windbags this side of Westboro. So maybe he is, yes.
