Just played ranked and people are sliding. Definitely laggy. Dunno if it's on my end.

Ryechu survived a point-blank Carbon Roller flick after he landed from a superjump and still somehow had time to OHKO snipe me with the Kelp Splat Charger. We traded kills. Now you guys know how fast a Carbon Roller swings, so how did he have enough time to charge an OHKO snipe from swing 1, where he just landed, and swing 2, where we magically traded kills?

Another scenario is a time today where Grakl and I were trying to charge snipe each other from near point-blank range. I heard his charge go off, didn't die, assumed I could still attack him, then a half-second later I'm dead. What?

Lag is weird today for me.


I still haven't played against you enough to adapt. Heh. =P

This is from experience by playing a laggy player, but the way it works is that on his screen, he landed way before he did on your screen and sniped you, then on your screen you killed him. The game then registers it as both killing each other. This is only a theory though, so I'm not too sure. (I played someone on stream who was laggy and saw it myself, that's how I came up with this theory)

That's what I'm thinking based on my experience vs Violet. So it's either latency issues, upload issues (I get 5.0 Mbp/s, which is decent), or server issues. Kind of annoying tonight, but eh.

i can't decide if i love the carbon roller or I hate it, the speed is inkredible but bouncing off an enemy in the ink and then being blasted is ridiculously frustrating

I finally got to A for ranked today. The A+ grind looks like it's going to be quite hard, but I didn't expect to get this far in the first place so might as well go for it

I've been using krak-on roller pretty much exclusively on ranked so I should probably diversify my weapon skill more at some point. Aerospray is pretty much my alt at this point, but I've heard others say that its worse for ranked than turf, is that the consensus?

Well, just had a disastrous session where I did nothing but lose even though I played well. In one match we got from start to within 3 seconds of winning and I die then my team totally turns the match over to the other side.

By the time I respawn they have the whole area and I could hardly even get back near the splat zone (meanwhile my team keeps jumping into death traps in a panic). So I end up with a 12/3 k/d and still lose with the rest of my team having negative k/d ratios.

I might have to stop playing till the August update if I value my Wii U gamepad.

Wanted to play just a couple more rounds with randoms and found another weird Japanese griefer. This one was an e-liter user so I had hoped he would be a big help for our team and instead he would just go up to the center platform on arowana mall and spam the squid button until someone shot him
