I love how he writes. There's no planning to his words. He didn't make an outline. It's like a stream of consciousness. "NBC is stupid. Oh, but I quit first! But they still cheated. So I'll sue them. Because I'm honest! Oh, right, Brian Williams! Better cram him in there. Let's see how it looks....hm, good work Donny."
 
This is bullshit.

NBC had to cut ties with him anyway because no network can give a presidential candidate that much airtime over the other runners.

They're just angling it to look like it's based on morals. He's been saying vile things for years.

This dude is so beyond rational thinking, I hope the GOP rides him as far as they can take him. All thats going to do is guarantee another democrat in 2016.

My FB friend who blamed the church goers, who were shot recently, for not being armed and saving themselves has taken Trumps side.

I don't know why he keeps surprising me by his posts.

In terms of Mrs. Universe, there are entrants from Central / South America. They literally have to do this since they're not only losing hosts, they will lose sponsors, and several countries will drop out otherwise. It's business.

As far as Celebrity Apprentice, it's really the same thing. TV / Movies are about image and making money. It's like arguing networks shouldn't sever ties with Cosby. Only worse here, since at least some of these ventures are directly targeting the peoples he made the comments about. They're directly tied to the production.

This is exactly it. I work as a "Political Advertising Consultant" (BS title) at an NBC affiliate station, and I can definitely see it as this. They just needed an excuse so that the Trump lawyers or his opposition wouldn't sue. Equal access to Federal Candidates is a very... hard thing describe and is a massive grey area (news vs not news, etc). Better to just cut the cord now. Once the political ads start rolling out, the election is officially in "Full Swing" and subject to FCC Political regulation.

Makes it pretty clear he's never taken this seriously. Or if so, it's even worse for him. It shows the crazy bubble he lives in.
 
I once, I think in the early Oughts, looked into Trump's money after he got super defensive when (Forbes?) some outlet reported he was not in fact a real billionaire and that the majority of his income actually came from shit like reality TV, instead of his businesses.

I wonder how true that is or still is?

Seems like he licenses his name for stuff he doesn't build, too.

Anyone have any insight?

Honestly, I fear for him. He's an angry lonely person with a gun. And I'm one of the few friends he has.

His only outlet to make him feel like he has some sort of control in his life is to vent about politics on FB.

I'm afraid he will either turn that gun on himself or on others.

Close friend? You could try getting him some help if you think he could turn violent.
 
I'm trying to remember...He tweeted out to TMZ or some news group about how great breaking a story was and they just tweeted back 'go fuck yourself' which prompted him to tweet about how awful he thought they were and this was all in the span of an hour.
 
I gotta say, I do kind of agree w/ the whole Brian Williams thing. I know its completely irrelevant to the jargon Trump has been spewing, but why did they keep him around again?
 
I just read that Trump hasn't voted in the last 6 Presidential elections. He's even weirder than I thought... I mean, to grandstand as much as he does about his love of country and not even care to exercise his right to vote is bizarre.

As of today, Donald J. Trump is no longer affiliated with NBC. Mr. Trump stands by his statements on illegal immigration, which are accurate. NBC is weak, and like everybody else is trying to be politically correct— that is why our country is in serious trouble.

Mr. Trump says, “We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States. As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped and it must be stopped now. Long ago I told NBC that I would not being doing The Apprentice because I am running for President in order to Make our Country Great Again.”

Mr. Trump continued, “If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court.
