I think the release order for the "Big 5" will be:

Quantum Break (Q1), ReCore (Q1), ScaleBound (Q2), Crackdown (Q2), Sea of Thieves (Q3).

At least that would be awesome to have those games come out like that throughout the year and make 2016 awesome first party wise.

EDIT: Obviously we will know more about Q3/Q4 titles next year's E3.

I feel like Scalebound could come out before ReCore, but who knows? Also, Gears 4 is missing from your list!

2007 was a behemoth of a year, it will be difficult for them to ever match it but I think next year they just might

Forza 2, PGR4, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Shadowrun, Crackdown, Blue Dragon along with other smaller stuff and third-party exclusives like Bioshock and Lost Planet
Woah, that will be hard to top...ever

I mean this year is great with Halo 5, Fable Legends, Forza 6, Gigantic, Ori, and TR as a 3rd party exclusive, but I don't think it can match 2007.

MS Gamescom conference is shaping to be better than their E3 conference, something I really didn't expect from MS.

When they announced Scalebound, Crackdown, Quantum Break were not being shown at E3 but will be shown at Gamescom instead, my hype for their e3 conference plummeted and I started looking forward to gamescom at that point. And seeing as how the halo 5 and gears 4 demos fell flat (for me), not to mention there wasn't any gameplay for Recore despite it having a spring 2016 release, it seemed very likely that their gamescom conference might turn out better.

Anyone know if GT or GB are going to be streaming the conference?

Is Rare going to be showing any unannounced projects? They stated that they have more unannounced things to show later this year, so I assume they were talking about Gamescom. Maybe the rumored Battletoads game? :p

They'll probably show more stuff of Sea of Thieves as well.

I guess I'm one of the few that thought Gears 4 looked good :(

I thought it looked good. It wasn't a set piece, or some big action moment, it was just a teaser to set the scene for characters, enemies etc, not really hard to see what they were going for.

At the halfway point in development, I doubt they are anywhere near having one of those big moments completed to show for that event. Im not expecting to see Gears for a while though now

EDIT: Obviously we will know more about Q3/Q4 titles next year's E3.

With how MS are announcing things early, except for Forza 2016, I think its likely anything AAA they will announce for that period will be unveiled well in advance of E3 2015. Games com is a good time to do that, given its 2016 focus

I think they did that to put a good slate of upcoming games on the table, I still think 2016 has a few unannounced games.

I just hope they wow me with some halo 5 campaign footage... I was so hyped after HtT, and was craving a Halo2-esque e3 demo... Needless to say I was underwhelmed...

I didn't say they didn't have any unannounced games for 2016, I just said that their bigger stuff won't be announced at E3.

They do it with smaller titles but their biggest stuff will be pre-E3 if I had to guess, makes sense to get the hype train rolling for bigger releases. If not Gamescom then something else they might have planned

I hope that Rise of the Tomb Raider is playable.

Really curious what kind of new announcements they have if MS mirror their original statement in that the E3 show has the same number of new and old announces as Gamescom.

I'm hoping for either more Sea of Thieves or another game announcement. Absolutely will not be Banjo as most of the company is working on SoT.

Last chance for that MCC to Windows 10 rumor. I'd like to see it happen as I would prefer playing it on PC compared to my XOne.

Would love a Blue Team trailer like we had for Osiris team.

Only 2/3-3/4 are on SoT, if they're bringing back Banjo or older IP themselves, I don't see why it needs to be AAA, much more likely to be successful if they make something with a smaller scope/budget and have a smaller team on it.

Likely, but I doubt they're going to announce that at an Xbox conference. Their prior announcements were at different venues.

Gamescom as a whole is way more PC focused than E3 though. it's pretty much a given they'll talk more about the whole Windows 10 PC + Xbox One thing..

As I said, this was a super smart strategic move. Sony doesn't have a conference, and these other games might have been drowned out beneath the so-called "megaton" crush... now they can sing on their own, people can focus on them, and they can make Microsoft look like they're constantly unveiling a string of great titles.
