Stop overreacting. I've played the games and, regarding the demo, I was judging what I saw. I know there's plenty of fine gameplay in Uncharted, but I don't like when the most valuable thing in video games (interaction) is taken away from me too often for the sake of making me look at things that look cool. I've got Mad Max: Fury Road for it.

This looked fantastic, but I barely saw any challenge presented to the player.

Well I have never felt the Uncharted series was about presenting too much of a challenge. You are playing a pulp action adventure. The only part that ever took more than a few times to get through a room was the first one and the water pillars on Hard.

But there is hope with the guys from TLoU, so the game may ramp up dramatically with different difficulty settings.

Of course they will not show a demo with people failing over and over again.

"Someone on NeoGAF will point out the windshield had more bullet holes than the stage demo, because it's dynamic."

Yup and platinumed all 3, loved them to bits. I can't have opinions now ? It was just meh to me. I'm still hyped for the game though.

No, you can have an opinion but if you played the previous Uncharted games you would not be surprised or upset that they've incorporated set pieces...you know, since the 3 past games have had a heavy focus on huge set pieces.

So basically the second part was a visually stunning but heavily scripted on-rails shooter?

Eh I'm disappointed, the best part of watching that was seeing the different way the first part could be played. The second looked like you weren't in much control at all. Not sure why the media hyped up the second part of the demo, the first was far more interesting to me (outside of the sheer spectacle of course)

Because it was a huge spectacle to play through. Do you not know anything about the enthusiast press?

Still looks like uncharted 3.5 to me it looks ok but not impressive.

Dude I didn't see the video but the first half from E3 is already looking leagues above U3, if you can't see the huge visual bump, destruction while doing it on a much bigger scale than i feel a little sorry for you, it was one of the most impressive showcases in E3, and for many, the most.

one of those ND guys just said "someone at neogaf will point out that the extended demo's jeep has more bulletholes than the youtube version, and that's because it's not scripted, it's dymanic" =]
she sounded a bit different to me, I was probably bugging out from excitement
her scene was less than a minute long man, and she looks exactly like emily rose ;)

to be on his point: It looks like sully does put down the windshield at a scripted place. was the same place in the e3 demo.

Are you listening to the twitch right now? They said, Neogaf said the scene is scripted, while it isn't, you can drive stop, get hit, change direction, don't help your brother etc.

Ok he went from on foot, to driving, to swinging ,to dragging ,to hopping from car to car, to driving again,to shooting on a bike.

What happens if you don't help him though, I imagine that would be the same as failing a mission. I'm not sure if that counts as dynamic :P

Kidding aside, it's looking absolutely incredible.

Im sitting scratching my head at all the people saying "scripted" or "on-rails". Ive never played an Uncharted game but I understand what these games are known for. Great cinematic set-pieces. So seeing this has me immensely excited to play the collection and 4. If a game has an emphasis on cinematic gameplay this is how you fucking do it, and I for one am perfectly fine with it.

My stream was crappy but it kicked back in to see the fire under the jeep. Very pretty

Cool trailer. Can't wait!

I really don't know :p. But I am very satisfied with what I saw, I really wnat some intensive experince like I just saw, I don't want a shallow sandbox open-wolrd boring game.

Trying to get some differences here:

- In the demo you could see the explosion of the first grenade better than the last demo

- Drake also shoots between the glass in the meat store

- More shots and in different locations on the wind shield

- Instead of going up the stairs in the car, the player went right and had to turn it back around because it was the wrong way

Jesus. That was amazing.

Nobody out there is doing what ND does. Nobody. This is the kind of demo I want to see on Fallon, just so an unsuspecting audience who aren't into games could see it and be blown away just the same. Even after all of TLOU awards, I feel like ND's still relatively unknown. And they should be a household name. Amazing.

Dynamic damage to windshields?

Let me hop into my time machine and go to 2005 so I can be moderately impressed.

The mud, however...
