How the altercation begins. Looks like he's trying to get to the bar, but she won't let him in (more is shown in the YouTube video)
She raises her clenched fist and he tries to prevent her from punching him
She allegedly knees him in the groin (according to his lawyer), throws a punch with her free hand, and then he punches her in the face.
He was kicked off of the FSU football team (and charged with misdemeanor battery). Story here:
It looks like her punch missed, but she clearly provoked the fight. You can't just throw punches at people. And it's easy for me to say that he shouldn't have hit her, but I remember the last time a punch was thrown at me....I didn't exactly laugh it off. He even tried to restrain her initially. But this is ignoring the allegation that she kneed him in the groin. If that happened then....I dunno. How far is she allowed to go? As far as I know, the woman has not been charged with anything.
I'd never hit a woman. But I've never had a punch thrown at me by a woman.

ESPNFlorida State Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher dismissed freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson from the team Monday night, hours after the state's attorney's office released video showing Johnson punching a woman in the face last month at a Tallahassee bar.
[...]
According to the Tallahassee Police Department incident report, the woman, an FSU student, suffered bruising near her left eye, swelling of the left cheek and upper lip, and a small cut near the bridge of her nose.
State's attorney Willie Meggs, who decided to charge Johnson after seeing video of the incident, said the woman still had a black eye when he met with her last week.
