You weren't talking to me?
What I just posted was my very first post, and then you do this:

Yep, that's not you replying to me with something I wasn't even talking about.

You've officially gone insane if you think my "where do you see a shove" post (which clearly came after your reply to me) was random and uninstigated.

Lmao just stop and go to bed or some shit.

Yes I was talking to jmtehgamer and you butted in and started talking like a child who walks into a movie halfway through. You've already taken several Ls here. You should probably stop digging.

Whatever happened to "I just jumped in and said where do you see a shove?", oh right, more of your backpedaling.

Bottom line is the law shouldn't have allowances for chivalry, double standards or discriminate between a man and woman especially in assault cases. When I've seen cops get off easy, especially when they react to situations that were there wasn't even anything close to this level of provocation by claiming they feared for their lives. If this guy has a half decent lawyer, he should be acquitted of all charges or it sets a dangerous precedent where women are free to throw feeble punches or kick us in the groin and our only options should be flee or deescalate in some other manner, God help you if you throw a punch back, feeble or strong, your only option if you can't flee is to Jay-Z it. A fight response should/will never be viable.

Could he have handled the scenario better, yes. Did he have the upper-hand, yes. Is his punch capable of doing more damage, very likely. But this is not what I'm arguing. I just want men and women afforded the same protections that we put into our laws and we don't turn blind eyes because in goes against our moral compasses. We shouldn't hit women, and women shouldn't hit (or try and miss) men either.

This is pretty much how I see it. It is disgusting that someone can initiate something and assault first and get away cleanly. This is the sorta injustice I would come across as a kid. Different scenario I know but kids would start fights with me and I would be the one that gets in trouble. Pissed me off and pisses me off that it can happen with clear evidence of the scene.

You butted in one post before that. I missed
it because i was on my phone but the fact remains we were talking abut X and you jumped in and started yammering without knowing what you were talking about, and now claiming you were talking about Y. And now you have the gall to whine that I forced you to talk about something you had no interest in. What happened to you not knowing the difference between backwards and forwards? What about you denying there was a push until I patiently held your hand and pointed it out to you? With that record of cluelessness you might clamber down from that high horse.

Anyway, no point in continuing to argue with someone this dishonest. I leave you to your rage.

Wonder if this has been mentioned. It looks like she has a fist balled up and throws a punch... but has anyone argued that she had her hand balled up with thumb extended as if she was pointing at somebody behind her?

Lmao there is no "butting in" on a public forum, anyone can reply to anyone, stick to pm's if you want to have a private conversation, that's what they are for.
My reply to you was adressing the things you left out/got wrong before she turns around.
That backwards/forwards thing was because of looking at different time stamps like you said yourself, because you were so adamant about her being pushed BEFORE she pushes him, which as many other posters have pointed out wasn't the case.

I also didn't deny she got pushed after she turns around (like again others have pointed out is the case), I denied she got pushed before she pushed him, which is the case still.

I don't get why people are trying so hard to come up with excuses for her. We need to accept the fact that she was acting like an asshole and attacked the dude. Now whether he needed to hit her back is, I suppose, up for debate... but there's no debating the fact that they were both big jerks about the whole thing.

People claim to have seen the video, yet still refuse to admit that she was the one who instigated things.

You guys are pathetic.

I think it's a combination of two things.

That ESPN reporting:
The woman, who lives in Tallahassee, told ESPN.com that she was approached by a man who was not Cook outside of Clyde's and Costello's shortly after the bar closed on June 23. The woman said the man asked for her phone number, which she refused to give him.

"I told him I had a boyfriend and wasn't interested," said the woman, who spoke to ESPN.com on the condition she not be identified. The woman said the argument became heated, and then Cook punched her in the face several times. Her friend ran to a nearby Tallahassee police car, which wasn't occupied, so the woman called 911.
Where did Cook come from?
A Tallahassee Police Department incident report indicates an officer arrived at Clyde's and Costello's at 2:24 a.m. on June 23. A heavily redacted incident report by TPD on Wednesday was heavily redacted. The incident report said the woman was "intoxicated."
Seriously?

They let a rapist play QB for two years

No surprise the TPD is going to cover for another star athlete

edit: I am talking about Dalvin Cook before anyone jumps on me

Weirded out at the amount of people in here wanting to punch a girl in the face

where are you reading that people WANT to punch a woman in the face?

can you point those posts out?

i have seen posts that dictate they wouldn't discriminate on gender if attacked or assaulted in self defense, i havent noticed any specifically seeking out to punch a woman

He can't because there aren't any.

It's a pathetic distortion of the truth.

DIdn't you see her raise her drunken arm with a fist balled-up at the end of it? She raised it in the direction of the guy's head! She almost swung it fast enough to create a small breeze too!
