Wow terrible, can anyone tell me how old each photo is? What's the age difference.
No.Can we not be vile and just focus on the passing of a great man?
I felt the same way until this. While I am not crying like some, I do feel sad, which is more than I can say for when some random celebrity overdoses or w/e. I guess it's because it is the first time someone that I have been following online has died. He's a very important figure in the industry so I can understand why a ton of people are reacting this way. For us hardcore gamers who are always browsing neogaf, people like Iwata, Miyamoto, Nomura, Shuhei Yoshida are basically immortal. This is an unfortunate reminder that that is not true.To see everyone being so invested in the life of someone they never met is kind of weird and foreign to me. That said, Iwata always seemed like a cool guy in the Nintendo Direct videos. His influence in the industry was quite frankly, unmatched. RIP Satoru Iwata.
That false Yamauchi rumor is actually halfway believable to anyone who was aware of his real life reputation.
When we talk about Nintendo we cannot ignore (former president) Hiroshi Yamauchi who just recently passed away. He always said that if you have failure, you don’t need to be too concerned. You always have good things and bad, and this reflects the history of Nintendo

Can't find the age of each pic, but I definitely remember him looking like the left photo just over a year ago.
He was definitely not doing well over the past year. Now he can finally rest![]()
I'm still trying to figure out why the hell the poster thought it remotely appropriate to post that here even if he/she thought it were real.Breaking news: gulliable people fall for joke site
http://klls.cr/1K3FyEGI don't see why you have to meet someone in person for them to have an affect on you.
Even PETA put up a nice tribute to Mr. Iwata.

Because it isn't a tribute. Its an advertisement targeted at people who are feeling loss and PETA is trying to capitalize on that loss.It starts out nice, but don't get why they are trying to advertise.
Now that I think about it, I think he knew this was coming at some point in the near future. I bet you he was doing a lot of work behind the scenes to deal with the eventuality.
They actually have an area set aside for mourning him.

What exactly is nice about that? It's a stupid typical PETA-esque advertisement. They're using Iwata's death to advertise their shitty parody games. About as cynical a "statement" as you can get.Even PETA put up a nice tribute to Mr. Iwata.

Already seen a few others doing it. Would be cool to see some more.

Pretty fitting considering the work he put in for Melee to be released on time.
Damn, I really had no idea. Like I said, a friend of mine was the one who said it was treatable and all that. I was just commenting on it.It seems he had the worst case where even surivovrs get just 5 years to live at best. Some people linked an article some page ago. Also they explained that type of cancer just suck your life out of you because it prevent your body to get nutriments from food.
That's why Iwata lost so much weight it seems.

So basically, he knew when he was diagnosed, his time was limited. In retrospect, a lot of the decisions he made during the last year are starting to make a lot more sense.
Looks like a Chromebook.Looks fantastic on your PC (or is it a mac'). Im also using it but doesnt look as clean with all the folders.
What a bunch of dicks.Sure, PETA, what a tribute those games were:

Still don't get how he stood that strong and kept his duties until the very end. He really had a passion for his work.
