Yuuuup. This movie comes off as a cheap sy-fy show. Sort of.
I think this movie could go either way (although I'm pretty excited for it). I cans understand having maybe a few problems with a line or two in this footage, but it doesn't look cheap or syfy like at all. That is completely off base.

did you see harley's shirt? it's ripped up. if this had a proper budget they'd be able to afford some nicer clothes for her. this looks syfy cheap (/s before somebody somehow misinterprets lol)
i'm honestly not worried about any of the cast in this one. even will smith who i think will add some charm to the cast of misfits. and jai courtney surprisingly looks like he might be entertaining too as a scumbag.
most intriguing movie in the whole DC slate imo (until batman at least)

Smith looks too much like just some good guy SWAT leader or something but that's only very short clips so kinda hard to tell. I think Leto looks/sounds pretty good there. Is some cheesy dialogue though

It's the "Looks like a PS2 game" argument.
The movie certainly looks good - but the tone is off for me.

I think we have to give it a chance. Looks like it could be an interesting character.

I can agree with the issues about tone. Seems to be an uneven mix of comedy and serious. hopefully they find a good balance.

Now if they do the whole Jonny Frost thing I'd be inclined to think Leto is playing the Joker (despite all contrary evidence).
Seeing how the Joker can fuck with the had of a pretty sane person in real-time throughout the film would be awesome.
Early trailers like this don't really have the benefit of being able to pick and choose the sequences that best represent the movie. If there's SFX or post production work that hasn't been done, that shot really can't be there.

Is Batman after them or was that not Batman in the trailer? ... Is he after them in the comic?
Might be a flashback. Probably some Harley Quinn origin story type stuff.

The one one the sports car? Yeah. that's Batman. We don't know what his role will be. Personally I'm betting it's Joker and Harley's capture scene early in the movie.

I thought the masked dudes were the Suicide Squad but I think they must be Joker's goons in an early scene.

If I had to guess, I'd say that's a flashback or the opening of the movie where Bats catches them both and ships them off to Arkham.
People say this about everything these days I swear.

Given the nature of the squad I wouldn't be surprised if they would be getting couple big stars for each movie. Generally A-listers tend to avoid superhero movies because of the insane conctractual obligations, but with Suicide Squad you can easily have somebody star in just one movie and then die.
Because Margot Robbie is licking and hand-pumping vaguely phallic shaped objects.

The short teaser trailer for this movie is better than all the BvS trailers/teasers released so far.

Interesting trailer. I'm not sold yet, but I think this one has potential and I think focusing on villains will make it feel interesting compared to most other comic book movies out there. Although a lot of dialogue in that trailer is pretty bad, and I don't like the idea of them being roped in to work for the government because of "built-in deniability", or whatever. Margot Robbie looks great as Harley and I'll be interested to see this new Joker, but I'm not sold on Will Smith from this trailer.
I'm not really a reader of comics but I do like comic book movies, so I'm interested to see where this goes. I just saw Man of Steel recently for the first time and liked it a lot more than I expected to, so hopefully the DCCU can slug it out with Marvel successfully.
