2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

What do you guys think about embedding 4k images? I personally have pictures disabled so it doesn't bother me (nothing gets loaded until I click on it, bandwith saved) 4k tvs finding their way into peoples homes these days (I think) and if I get a new tv it will be one of those too.

I will post the second largest pictures that are downsized automatically from flickr as 4k jpegs are between 3 and 6 MBs in size, I believe these automatically downsized images have visible compression artefacts though (not really sure). I will only post a link for the 4k image below each picture for now to not anger anyone.

4K images get automatically sized for any screen here, once clicked, the go to original size. As long as they aren't some oversized filetype/size, there is no problem with posting 4K and above.

I guess that makes sense (to some degree as a 50MB Jpeg is still 50MB big... to exaggerate it a bit) still I wont have a problem to just link them if anyone thinks differently.

I wonder if those seams on the wrist and on the leg are texture seams or if they actually scanned in the rubber suit and those are the seams from the suit itself. I'm maybe reading too much into that.

Is there already a HUD toggle for Alien Isolation? Cause I'm making one with 3Dmigoto that lets you toggle it on/off ingame. Just wondering if I should upload it here when it's done.

Duncan and Jim ( I believe) have already made one for Cheat Engine, it works. Still, go ahead and do it anyway if you like because the hud toogle acts a little strange, it's more like cycling through different hud states instead of on and off, you have to press the button several times or hold the button down etc + there are parts in Alien Isolation where this hud toggle doesn't work (at least on my end) so if you can create a better hud toggle then why not. But to be completely honest, I don't think it's really neccessary as it is fine as it is even with those small problems.

Nice pics, can't wait when this game gets fixed!!!

The game has been almost completely fixed as far as visuals go by this guy and his program: http://steamcommunity.com/app/208650/discussions/0/523890046870624615/

Been using it for over a week now and it's solved all the problems for me (I play the game at a locked 30 because there are still huge FPS problems, but texture loading, stuttering etc are all fine now).

You'll need to make sure you slightly exceed the minimum requirements (so you'll need at least a GTX 670 with 2GB of VRAM) but if you use the "slow" texture loading settings in that program alongside low textures with motion blur disabled, you should be able to have a locked FPS of 30 with no stuttering. 3 GB of VRAM on an Nvidia card should allow you to use the Normal textures with "balanced" texture loading settings, 4 GB should allow you to use "fast" settings.

If you want to play the game at 60 FPS, unfortunately you'll just need to use brute force, but it is possible to play the game almost perfectly, albeit at a cap of 30 FPS, with a 2 GB GTX 670 or a 3 GB Radeon 7870.

I do have a 4GB 670(2 of them even) so maybe I can see how my rig handles it!!! Thanks for the info as well on the progress of the game.

Its been a long time since i posted any pictures .

Had to re install everything so i apologize if I've screwed up on faststone and these are compressed .
Needed to put my brand spanking 980 ti through its paces .

Anyway ...

Well that sounds like a hassle, so here it is :P

Alien Isolation hud toggle

Nah, not a hassle but still, you seem like you are getting better with this... you are not happen to have the racing-game PURE in your posession? I failed at creating a hud toggle for that game with cheat engine... if you ever feel like testing your skill :P

I don't have it unfortunately. But if I did, and if it's DX9 or DX11, then yes I probably could :D

Edit: actually I found a free demo, gonna give it a try

Edit 2: The game is pretty old so it uses an older shader version (pixelshader 2 instead of pixelshader 3) so I don't know how to add toggle function to those, sorry

No problem, thanks for trying though!

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Reshade Framework (work in progress), Jim2point0's CE

Virtually unplayable on my rig with ultra settings plus reshade unless I turn off AA in-game and then I can get 25fps. Still..makes for some nice screenshots.
