IDK, Kalimba was worked on for most of the development by two-three people. I believe that the main team has been working on something else since Max.
Twisted Pixel yes, has been silent for much longer; maybe it's true that their next game is a bigger scope production.

Kailmba was a bit more involved then just three people, it was a good chunk of the studio. The game idea was generated by two people in their spare time, and then pitched at the studio, but it was made by a good part of the studio. The DLC was a much smaller team.

all right, didn't know that...still, they might have been working on two things at the same time? honest question

Scalebound more okami like? Huh, I never considered the possibility, but that would be cool.

I still believe in a new banjo being shown at gamescom...

I still believe in kampfhelds prediction, the announcement was just pushed to gamescom...

I still, I...

Last I checked they were doing two things at a time. They talked at one point about wanting to always have a game in actual production, something in development stages and some time set off to do weird shit like their mobile stuff.

I'm wondering what the PC announcements will be. Also hope Phantom Dust comes back :(

Inb4 Gears of War Ultimate Edition, like on the E3 PC conference. -.-

Hoping for anything Decisive Games related, because they are the 1st party studio that is working on Strategy Games. Age of Empires and Halo Wars would be pretty sweet.

Man, all these epic games coming. Looking back on it, Microsoft has been having so many good exclusives, it's insane. I think I could have lived well off of just Xbox One exclusives, if I hadn't gotten other games and platforms. I mean, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Motorsport and Horizon, Gears of War, Halo, Ori, Cuphead, Below, ReCore, Quantum Break, Crackdown, Scalebound, State of Decay, Sea of Thieves, *Rise of the Tomb Raider - so much goddamn quality and diversity, it's unprecedented in Xbox history. I can't wait to see the new titles at Gamescom.

3) Find out the genre for Scalebound. Crossing my fingers that this could be an RPG (meaning that it's more like Okami and less like Bayonetta or Kamiya's other games).

God, I hope not. Ken Lobb said it plays to Platinum's strenghts, so I hope it's an awesome action game, a blend of DMC and Panzer Dragoon.

Early 2016 my ass. Really interested to see how this turns out though. Some of the key people from the original Metroid Prime are at Armature.

I just realized that if Rare isn't working on a new Banjo at all, then this tweet is really cruel: https://twitter.com/therealbeano/status/475981017480982529

so busy they can't show a single in-game picture?

get ready for phantom dust reboot part 2 situation.

Oh hardly .. we didn't even know who was behind Phantom Dust for ages, all we got was that trailer. ReCore has a solid deve team behind it and they've given loads of interviews and a release date that isn't a million miles away.

Sure it looks enevitable it'll get pushed back, but cancelled/put on hold. No.

Yes. A game skips an event 6 weeks after is announcement, and its a "Phantom Dust Part 2"

Spot on!

The idea of them showing "a single in-game picture" is pretty laughable as well, when do Microsoft ever really do that? Least of all what seems to be a $60 title.

I have a feeling we're going to be able to replace The Last Guardian in the Star Trek E3 GIF with Phantom Dust in a few years :(

Microsoft won't keep a project stringing along like that. It will either be released or shitcanned completely.

Well with ReCore missing hopefully we will get some other new game announcements. Pressplay,Twisted Pixel, etc. Have been working on games we know nothing about.

I'm still hopeful that Recore will release early 2016

Gameplay Premier at Game Awards w/ April Release Date
Gameinformer January Cover
Trailer on a random Tuesday
Something at GDC 2016 (march)
Then late April Release + Launch Trailer

They said Spring 16, which is mid-March to mid-June, I think it'll hit in early summer, maybe July. And it'll be shown at next E3
