Well that's a bummer. I was hoping to see some gameplay. However, given the fact that if they were going to hit the Spring 2016 release date, that would only be two years of total development time. There probably isn't much time for the team to create vertical slices for presentations like this one.

Still, it's disappointing.

Gears 4? maybe? Although maybe not this early. Gears 4 because of how Rod asked the answer he was asked on stage when Gears:UE was announced. Either way more Gears is expected to come.

I really hope there will be a session after the conference where they go into detail about the new dashboard. I want to see the minimal micro changes, that will make everyday life with the console better, and not just the big picture stuff.

I really hope they have made improvements to the response time in regards to bringing the OneGuide up on screen and overall made the TV experience better. They're so close to doing something amazing with that.

Where else are they going to show it anyway? PAX is possible but it's pretty soon after Gamescom.

I doubt they would have announced it at E3 for that date then delayed it a month afterwards. With the way Phil talks, it sounds very much like it was never part of the plan for it to be at Gamescom (although I had always thought it would be) so I don't think this is indicative of a delay

Yeah and the fact they've been playing it already is a good sign.

I have a feeling we'll see it in December at the Games Awards and then they'll hype it up that way with a May/June release date.

Full demo of QB, obviously, and probably a few new indies.

I'd say there might be one or two new IP announces, with possible studios being Lionhead (after Fable Legends), Twisted Pixel or some sort of second-party arrangement, a la Recore.
