Here's my Akita, his name was Komodo. Had to put him down a couple years ago, he was the most loyal and friendly dog I've ever had!

Yeah they really are. They're generally really affectionate dogs too, and really intelligent in my experience.

Tell that to my right shoulder. 105lbs of muscle... Stupidly, I didn't train against his pulling nature. I mean, he's a pulling dog, so I thought what's the point in going against what's natural to him? Well it turns out the point is physical well being, but hey, it's fun enough!

Shit! He's a monster. Mine only weighs 55lbs and he still nearly rips my arms off sometimes. Nothing worse than him seeing a rabbit before I do while on a walk.
