OK, I'm not even mad but I just got the bamboozled in the probably one of the most insulting way possible. I'm at Classic Game Fest in Austin and buy some old games from this one stand, it was decently sized too and I forgot the name of the store of the people who owned the booth. I rummage through the ps2 games and decide I might as well get some, since even though I don't have a ps2 console with me anymore, I can just have it for collection and pop it in pcsx2 if I want to play it.
I decide to get Shinobi and Virtua Fighter 4 Evo. I get home and check my games, Shinobi looks in good condition and has the booklet too, makes me happy. VF4Evo has Capcom Fighting Jam in it but at least I have the booklet. Not miffed about the mistake at all to be honest. I've played VF4Evo before (coughAlreadyhaveitemulatedonmypccough) but I have never played CFJ even though I heard it sucks and it looks as mismatched as someone's MUGEN setup.

How's SFV feel, guys? Didn't even bother trying the beta today. By the time I was done setting up my PC and moving around my entire living room, UFC came on and I'm just watching that now.
Is Yata good? I might pick it up. I've been watching Mando play and it looks pretty good. Didn't it have some development issues or something with funding? I might be confusing it with something else.

Yata is very nice. Lots of aspects remind me of 3S (which is my fav SF game). Can't remember anything about a funding problem, I kinda lost sight of the game after they were working on Attack on Cataclysm.

I don't remember anything about funding, but the person in charge of the graphics got sick for a while which caused significant delay.

The beta feels pretty good from what I played of it. I mainly used Ryu and Chun and only got into a few matches which were a bit laggy. Chun is alright from what I played I guess, I'd need to play more of her to get a better feel. Ryu however feels pretty good. His damage, crush counters, and cancels into V trigger makes him feel like a soild character.

It is just unfair that the US is getting a head start in SF5. Watch EVO 2016 only have like one Japanese player in the top 8.
just enough time to confirm that ryu can kara throw with roundhouse. it's totally garbage but it's a real kara throw, so maybe some characters will have some actual kara tech.
