God forbid a superhero wear spandex.
God forbid a superhero wear spandex.
Doesn't really make sense for Batman though
i don't know it you read the comics or are just basing this off of other media but bats vs supes has come up several times and it's always less of "supes is super strong and can easily destroy bats" and more of "supes is trying to destroy bats but bats is outsmarting him and doing stuff that keeps the fight even"
in dark knight returns it was having a suit anddistracting him long enough for ollie to cripple him with a kryptonite arrow
in hush it was using a kryptonite ring to keep fighting and then moving the fight to the daily planet building where catwoman was about to push lois lane off of the roof
in endgame it was using a suit, and once that was destroyed letting supes hold him and get close enough to spit a kryptonite mixture into supes's eye
Makes perfect sense, it allows him to move and be athletic. It would give him more mobility than any of the previous Batman costumes and way more than that suit of armor from the previous page.

Superhero's don't wear spandex. Not even in comic books.
what about bullets and dogs?
Batman is a ninja and the greatest martial artist in the world, he knows how to avoid getting shot.
He'd also get shot way more wearing that tank suit he can barely move around in.
greatest martial artist in the world,
batman is human. Know your limits.
I wouldn't mind if they had gone with something like this, makes perfect sense for him... and he can rip off the shirt and transform into Superman whenever he wishes. However that transition looks cool in comics, wouldn't look good in a live action film though... that transition would be awkward.
The Superman on set looks good too...

Its not all that implausible in the context of a superhero movie

you serious? Looks like one of those action figures people with no money buy pretending they're Marvel Milestones
It does if it's flexible Kevlar nano-weave body armorNot really. No matter how athletic you are you're going to take hits, and under Armour doesn't work.
No. This is a terrible idea.
It's colorful in the trailer.
I mean - Zack Snyder didn't direct this magazine cover.
and yet you post a cartoon. It's just simply not believable. You can have a Batman looking suit with a bit of light armor that makes it much more plausible in a live action setting, particularly for take that the DC Cinematic Universe is going for.

It's Batman. He has the resources to develop light-weight flexible material that can stop bullets and blades, because it's a comic book movie with aliens and a demigod from a mystical island (ie sure it wouldn't work in real life, but this isn't realistic)
That Batman looks like a Rob Liefield drawing come to life.

No he's not.
O-Sensei
Lady Shiva
Cassandra Cain
Bronze Tiger
Deathstroke
Richard Dragon
Well, yeah.Still can't get over the amount of padding in that bat suit. If it's not padding, i expect a rocky 6 build under that spandex.
Every time Batman beats Superman in the comics it's because of writers giving him plot armor that makes Superman look dumb. Batman would not stand a chance against classic comic book Superman. Superman has beaten and outsmarted Lex Luthor literally hundreds of times and Lex is consistently portrayed as just as smart or smarter than Batman.
Blame Frank Miller
Well, yeah.

I find him similar to Hardy's Bane, as in muscular but not lean.

He directed Man of Steel and every single thing in that movie is the same color.

Who's bigger: Batfleck or Arkham Batman?
That inside thisWell, yeah.
